Maintainance guide:
Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part
of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.
Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.
Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.
Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy
water to wash it.
Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.
Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.
Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.
Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

- If it is a Swift Lock Laminate flooring, no you should not and cannot. Wax or other sealers will not bond to laminate.You cannot change the sheen to the flooring. - Q: Installed laminate flooring in my kitchen and in the spring and fall when temperature changes floor makes cracking sound when walked on. Was told weight of cabinets keeping floor from expanding and contracting. Can it be fixed without ripping out cabinets?
- If the cupboards were installed AFTER the flooring i;e they were laid on top of the flooring, then that maybe the case but if you installed it afterwards you need to make sure you leave a gap all around edges of flooring to allow it to expand and contract. You will either have to atke out the cupboards and refit the flooring without it going under the cupboards, which isn't a big a job as it sounds, or if the case is the latter then take up the flooring and remove enough from the edges to allow a gap.
- Q: We are going to install 20mm laminate flooring and I heard that the underlayment is just a sound buffer. We currently have subfloor that is pretty flat and even. Can I omit the underlayment? What are the disadvantage of doing so? The laminate flooring will not have glued on back underlayment either. It will be a floating floor.
- No you do not need any other underlayment. It is a bad idea to double up on padding because this will cause the joints in the floor to flex more and weaken the tongues, causing eventual board separation. It's very important that you use the 6 mil plastic for vapor barrier. Rosin paper is useless over concrete. Overlap the plastic a few inches and tape the seams and you should be fine. - Dettol, is a cleaning product, so you may used it in a buck of water. How much can you pure into the bucket? depends on the bucket and water in it, i would say about less than half but more than quarter of it. I have not heard this word or product in a while ...but it's good ..i use it when i was growing up, as my mother and grandmother used it a lot.....good product .where did you find it anyway.

- You cant seal , varnish, or shellac laminate flooring. If its engineered wood flooring you can sand and finish it between 1-3 depending on the type of wood it is. Most laminaye flooring isnt made for high moisture content areas and when it is it has to be installed exactly how the manufacturer specify's. Hate to break it to you, but your out of luck on this one. Allure flooring which is sold mostly by Home depot makes a great rubber flooring thats based on the laminate floor idea , and its ideal for high moisture content areas.

- I've been in hundreds of tall buildings around the world. I have never seen a building that did not have a floor labelled the 13th floor.
