Application:
1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.
2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non- ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.
3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.
4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

- I love classic rock. I used to like metal years ago, probably more pop metal than the real thing. I loved Van Halen, Scorpions, Night Ranger, Randy Rhoads, etc. I also was into Christian metal like Stryper, Whitecross, Shout, Ken Tamplin, etc.

- Q: I have some thin sheet 'tin' metal I believe I bought from home depot. I'm trying to make some sheet metal panels with a patina on it. Does anyone know what the sheet metal at HD is made out of and can you oxidize or put a patina on it? If not, is there a certain type of sheet metal I can buy that would work for a decorative patina?

- When you can't go forward,you must go back to the roots and reinvent them.I'd rather have a new Sabbath or Priest type metal band than some nu metal,psuedo metal crap.Metal has always been about the feeling,the rush,the excitement,the power.That has nothing to do with speed or technicality.Metal is famous for being extremely tight.if a band could incorporate that tight but loose feel of a Stones or Zeppelin into pure metal,that would be a good step.
