Q: Do boost mobile phones have sim cards, if so can you put the sim card into another unlocked phone ?
There are two kinds of Boost Mobile phones. The walkie talkie (iden) type which has a sim card and the non walkie talkie cdma type (Motorola c290, W385, Krzr K1M) which does not have a sim. Iden and Cdma Boost mobile phones run on two different incompatibile networks and you cannot use one to run on the other's network, in other words, no Krzr K1M on the iden/walkie talkie side and vice versa. The Boost iden sims can be used with other non Boost iden phones. If you put a Boost sim in a Nextel Motorola it will usually work with some variations (No Off Network walkie talkie, texting might be different). Nextel sims will not work in Boost phones without unlocking. Boost sims also work in Southern Linc (in the South)and Telus Mike (Canada) Motorola iden phones as long as they are unlocked . Boost (or for that matter any iden ) sims will NOT work in unlocked gsm phones . Gsm is the different sim technology used by companies like Att and Tmobile. The sims from both iden and gsm look the same and can fit in each other's phones but are incompatible and will not work. So , no iphone or G1 for Boost.
Q: Can one mobile phone charger work on other mobile phone(any mobile phone)
Some phones can use the same charger , but anyway , firstly you should confirm the current and voltage of phone is the same as ones of charger . Then they can use same charger . If not , you cannot use the same .
Q: if i get a mobile phone on pay monthlywhich 1 can i make international calls withhelp answer pleasefanx
Using WhatsApp on most smart phones resolves this, as long as your friends have it too 1st year free, works over Wi-Fi, you send messages to your friends as long as you have a Wireless link from a hotel, restaurant or anywhere else while travelling It works in Symbian, Android, Balack Berry and even those weird Iphones :-)
Q: Forgive me for maybe being a little stupid but i assume that a sim free unlocked mobile phone is just a plain old handset that will accept any sim card?I currently have a phone with Tesco mobile on a PAYG tariff - i assume that if i bought a sim free unlocked phone, i could take my sim card from my current phone and put it into the new one and it would work just fine? ie. i'd keep my current number and i'd stay on my PAYG tariff?
Not any phone company. Different carriers use different systems. Like cdma and gsm.Sprint, Virizon, and alltell are services that use cdma, which is basically an internal built sim. Some carriers offer a flash service that enables you to use their carrier, however once flashed your phone will only be able to be with that carrier. ATT once activating your phone will block it from being used anywhere else.Hope this helps.
Q: Can I use my boost mobile (minutes) cell phone number for my google voice to make calls and can I use my phone to talk to the person I'm calling if I don't have a headset mic to use on my computer???
If you want to use your mobile minutes you could use your google voice number. Your mobile phone should be in the list of phones that google voice will call. Also you phone should be setup in google voice that when that mobile phone calls you google voice number you do not have to enter a password. So to start a call you dial your google voice number then you will go to the google voice system directly without having to enter a password and you will hear press 2 to make a call, if you want to make a call then follow the instructions.
Q: I have a Boost Mobile phone and I want to delete the messages that I already read in the inbox. Is there a way to do this?
By hitting the delete button. Or options delete. There has to be some kind of options menu, you know where you hit Reply and Forward it should be in there. Play around with it and hit buttons and see what happens. Don't forgot just because it's a Boost Mobile Phone doesn't tell anyone what kind of Phone it is. Like Samsung Neon, LG Bold, Nokia Plur, etc.
Q: i want a virgin mobile phone, does the activation automaically give me minutes to talk, because my friend told me that when i buy a virgin mobile phone, it doesn't come with minutes, does activation mean that it gives me minutes?
To activate it , you need to purchase ?5 worth of credit, after that, you get ?5 worth of minutes.
Q: I just got a Boost Mobile phone. Just wanted to know.
Virgin Mobile. The cards last 90 days!!! NOT 60.and cheaper minutes, easy top-up. Topping up Trac-Fone requires a lot of number entry to the phone, Virgin, you just type in a PIN on the Internet. That's it! Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail, No roaming charges, good coverage everywhere I've travelled!! Calls average 18 cents a minute. Trac-Fone is like double that AND MORE!!!!
Q: Hi!i'm wondering if someone used my mobile phone while I was away is there a way to discover this kind of information? Thanks!
Check if the messages you didn't read are marked as read. Also I think there is a way to view your Internet history, but for every phone there is another way. For the other stuff, I can just shrug my shoulders. If you could discover the last activities, it would take to much memory.
