Q: i wanted to know how refurbished T-Mobile phones are. How they're wear and tear comes and if they have any problems with signals or buttons or anything like that. Sprint and Verizon are CDMA, while Cingular and T-Mobile are GSM. The phones are entirely incompatible. If you have another carrier, you can tell the difference in service by knowing if your phone takes a SIM card. A SIM card is used in GSM phones. Also GSM is more of a world wide standard, so if you travel it may be a better type of phone/service to choose.
