Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q: Does anybody know some good chats for metal music?
i love metal. I live, breathe, and dream metal. me personally though i like the good old fashion old school death metal like death, old school. dying fetus, Nile immolation, krisiun, carcass. that stuff. but i still love progressive death metal, folk metal, original technical death metal not this faceless ****. I like heavy metal and melodic death metal as well. sorry if my answer is scattered im a little tired. lol
Q: Okay, so i recently started listening to um, like screamo and heavy metal. then my friend recommended i start listening to death metal, saying if you like heavy, you'll like death. BLAH BLAH BLHA |:so i did. AND I CANT MAKE A DIFFERENCE OF THEM |:SO SO SO SORRY. BUT I CANT. can you guys or girls, tell me whats the difference?and also can you recommend me to some screamo, or heavy metal bands? i already know about these below:BULLET FOR MY VALLENTINE lt;33FINCH ; BUT THEN NOT REALLY SCREAMO, KINDA THOUGH. :|BRING ME THE HORIZON ; MY PERSONAL FAVORITE lt;3:)THE DEVIL WEARS PRADASCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS ; AHAHAHAH I LOVE THEM :DMASTODON AND TOOL ; DONT REALLY LIKE IT that MUCH |:and BLOOD FOR BLOOD ; GREAT.! :]uhmmmm; any others.? :D thanks.
I hear that Dimmu Borgir will often play with an orchestra
Q: POLL: RAP or METAL ?!?!?
To me there's a huge difference between Nu Metal and Grunge. 1. Grunge bands had more of a variety of sounds. Not only apart from other bands but even different sounds within the same band. The was light, shade, heavy, sparse, etc. Nu Metal bands have pretty much one sound and different bands sound similar. 2. Grunge had a lot of power chords, open chords, leads, picking, sometimes all in the same song. Much like 70's bands did. Nu Metal is mostly low power chords. 3. Grunge had a lot of female singers. Nu Metal barely did. 4. If you strip away hip hop from Nu Metal, you get Disturbed. Disturbed is no where near sounding Grunge. They sound Nu Metal without the Hip Hop. I still consider it Nu Metal. 5. I always thought 90's Grunge/Rock was like 70's Rock if you simplified it and added a punk element to it. Nu Metal is like a mix of Korn, Metallica, and Tool except even more simplified. Oh, and Hip Hop too. Something like that anyway. Maybe has an element of Grunge in it too but it not Grunge. 6. Grunge wasn't glam Metal. Glam Metal is like Kiss, Motley Crue, and Poison. Grunge is what put those stupid bands out of style. Grnge was a lot more Punk and had elements of 60's and 70's Rock.
Q: hi . element X melts at a temperature lower than that of boiling water. it fails to react with hydrochloric acid and 1centimeter cube (1 cm^3) of the element has a mass of 1.8g. identify element X as a metal or a non metal. Give reasons to justify your answer. thank you
ALKALI metals: - 1 valence electron, so highly reactive - soft metals - silvery in color - low boiling and melting points - large atomic radi ALKALINE metals: - have 2 valence electrons, still very reactive - shiny, silvery-white colour - when heated in flame, Mg gives a brilliant white flame, Ca a brick-red, Sr a crimson, and Ba an apple green - harder and denser than sodium and potassium, and have higher melting points - found combined with oxygen and other non metals in earth's crust TRANSITION metals: - are electric conductors - have luster - malleable - most are hard solids with relatively high melting and boiling points - because of unpaired d electrons, they can have oxidation numbers of +4, +5, etc.
Q: im starting to listen to metal and stuff and i wanted your top artist suggestionsalso whats the diff between metal, heavy metal, screamo and all that
Si is a semiconductor therefore, if it is heated about the transition temperature, it conducts electricity like a metal. Below that temperature, it does not conduct electricity. Other than that, it looks and behaves pretty much like a metal. Like most metals, it does not occur in the pure form in nature, it exists as Si bearing minerals, the most common is silica, SiO2. You can heat Si up and melt it and pour it and solidify it. You can melt it and add other metals to make alloys. Si is not very ductile, at room temperature it is brittle as glass. Most metals are ductile but there are some metals that about as brittle as Si. Si is an odd ball because solid Si is less dense than liquid Si so, like water ice, solid Si floats on top of liquid Si. The only other pure element that floats on it's own liquid is Bi (I think).
Q: I remember that the fusion of punk and metal was called Crossover in the eighties.
i by Meshuggah, its 21:00 min long and by far the HARDEST thing you will ever try to learn on any instrument.. it may take you a while to even enjoy it if your used to kids metal
Q: Apart from the facts that metals always loose electrons and are good electric conductors and that non-metals always gain electrons and are bad conductors, what is the difference between the two?
Metal is the same temperature as the rest of the room. It just feels cold because it conducts heat so well. When you touch something non-metallic, the surface instantly heats to the temperature of your finger and does not feel cold.
Q: I usually listen to subgenres.Recommend me some good metal bands?
death metal
Q: What are some good Symphonic Metal bands?A list would be nice,if you can.
That's great.
Q: What's the Coefficient of Static Friction for Metal on Metal, and for Leather on Metal??I also need sources for the values.
well, steel is a type of metal. It's sort of like asking the difference between a bug and an ant, an ant is a bug, but not every bug is an ant. Likewise, steel is metal, but not all metal is steel. Gold is metal, Silver is metal, Iron is metal, Steel is metal.
