Q:who invented metal and when?
ultimate-guitar absolutepunk
Q:why can metals conduct? and what is metallic bonding?
No, usually the transition metals (of which iron is classified as) demonstrate maleable and ductile qualities most characteristic of metals. Bismuth is a very brittle metal.
Q:make sure they are death metal
Splinter telephone Chaos concept > Any MGS sport, but...I guess overall the MGS sequence is healthier. That is by and large considering that Double Agent wasn't that good, and the brand new one appears about the same.
Q:i feel very slow, i really cannot figure out the difference between death metal and black metal...anyone know?
The elements which form positive cons (cotions) by losing electrons are called metals.
Q:I prefer metal :)
Proto metal is stuff like Blue Cheer, Dust, Jacula. Black Sabbath on the other hand is 100% heavy metal, not proto metal at all.
Q:Ok. I know the metal one is metal {duh} but whats the difference? Is the metal one better?
Well, since 2000, most of the new metal bands have been FALSE metal bands. These are REAL metal bands that have released albums since 2000 and my favorite albums from each one: Lamb Of God-Sacrament (Groove Metal) Children of Bodom-Follow the Reaper (Melodic Death Metal) Arch Enemy-Doomsday Machine (Melodic Death Metal) Amon Amarth-With Oden on Our Side (Viking Death Metal) Vader-Revelations (Death Metal) Behemoth-Demigod (Blackened Death Metal) Demonoid-Riders of the Apocalypse (Death Metal) Bloodbath-Nightmares Made Flesh (Death Metal) DETHKLOK-The Dethalbum (Melodic Death Metal) Dimmu Borgir-Death Cult Armaggedon (Symphonic Black Metal) Five Finger Death Punch-The Way of the Fist (Groove Metal)
Q:ok so i'm 13 been listening to metal for almost 2 years and i'm f**kin tired of all the posers i mean they consider themself hardcore because they listen to slipknot, avenged sevenfold, atreyu, korn, linkin park or any shitty nu metal or metalcore band and they don't know anything about anything about metal they consider slipknot death metal? marlyn manson black metal? come on and they always insult death metal i mean i dont listen to death metal but i dont diss death it takes alot of talent. is it just me or are posers ruining metal for us real die hard metalheads?
The NWOBHM was a movement, not a genre. Death metal and dark metal are unrelated. Dark metal, at least in my experience, usually refers to either a metal/dark ambient fusion, or metal with a very dark feel that isn't doom, death or black metal.
Q:I have music ADD (lol) I just need some less heard of, but still good metal bands. Just list away please.
Metal oxides are basic oxides. This means that they are alkali when dissolved in water. Na2O, a metal oxide dissolves in water to form NaOH which is alkali. An Alkali is on that dissolves in water to form hydroxide ions (OH-). Thus all metal hydroxides and metal oxides are alkalis.
Q:is it a metal that acts like a non-metal or other way around?
Magnetism has to do with unpaired electrons. Electrons spin clockwise or counter clockwise. Generally they are paired. When they are not they create magnetism. Iron has 3 unpaired electrons and demostrates tahe greatest magnetism. cobalt and nickle also demonstrate some magnetism. Also, some of the rare earths and some alloys such as Alnico and steel. RECENTLY, several papers have been published on the use of polarized light for revealing the grain structure of metals and alloys. Hone and Pearson1 showed that by examining under polarized light a polished aluminium surface which had been anodized in a suitable electrolyte, the grain structure was revealed, differently oriented grains appearing with different brightnesses. Woodward2, by etching 'Monel' metal in a specific reagent, has found similar effects. Polished surfaces of aluminium and 'Monel' metal, being optically isotropic, do not react to polarized light as do the optically anisotropic surfaces of tin, zinc, cadmium, etc., and the above authors1,2 have attributed the optical anisotropy of the anodized aluminium and etched 'Monel' metal to the anisotropic properties of the surface film formed during anodizing or etching. Although this explanation may be correct, there is a possible alternative which involves the surface contour of the specimen, for it is well known that if pearlite is examined under polarized light no reaction occurs unless the specimen is etched. This has been shown convincingly by Baeyertz3 to be due to the presence of fine parallel grooves on the surface, formed by etching away the ferrite and leaving the cementite lamell? in relief. Furthermore, Jones4 has shown that polarization effects can be produced by deeply etching a metal surface.
Q:What are two synthetic metals (not naturally ocurring) on the periodic table??
It depends on their stability with other elements. The charges determine how many electrons it is giving up to a non-metal.
