1. Manual Wafer Butterfly Valve Description:
Butterfly valves are generally favored because they are lower in cost to other valve designs as well as being lighter in weight, meaning less support is required.A butterfly valve is a valve which can be used for isolating or regulating flow. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe, passing through the disc is a rod connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the disc is always present within the flow, therefore a pressure drop is always induced in the flow, regardless of valve position.
2.Main Features of the Manual Wafer Butterfly Valve
1.Quick 90 degrees on-off operation. Minimized operating torque ,energy saving.
2. Excellent sealing performance with no leakage. Long service life.
3. Wide selection of materials ,applicable for various media..
4. Flow curve tending to straight line. Excellent regulation performance.
a)Cast hole. Flange connection meet ANSI 125/150# DIN PN10/16 BS4504 PN10/16 in the meanwhile.
b)Soft seat. Replaceable. Increase of service life.
c)Double half shaft without pin.
d) Square and short neck. Easy to stick scutcheon and cost saving.

5.FAQ
1 . What is manual wafer butterfly valve?
A: Wafer style is the more common of the two and is less expensive than the lug style. The wafer style butterfly valve is just about the standard. It ís so common that no one even bothers to use the word "wafer" when ordering a butterfly valve. It is taken for granted that if a butterfly valve is ordered, a wafer style will be received.
2. What is the working principle of manual wafer butterfly valve?
A: A butterfly valve is from a family of valves called quarter-turn valves. In operation, the valve is fully open or closed when the disc is rotated a quarter turn. The "butterfly" is a metal disc mounted on a rod. When the valve is closed, the disc is turned so that it completely blocks off the passageway. When the valve is fully open, the disc is rotated a quarter turn so that it allows an almost unrestricted passage of the fluid. The valve may also be opened incrementally to throttle flow.
- Q:Does the pneumatic butterfly valve need electricity?
- Yes, for emergency power off, use the 24V power belt with pneumatic butterfly coil to allow pneumatic valve to work
- Q:What does "C" in D971F-16C DN450 RF mean for electric butterfly valves?
- Valve carbon steel -16c body 316 stainless steel -16r
- Q:Today saw the butterfly valve and butterfly valve, I do not know what is the difference between the two
- It should be the same. Butterfly valve (also called butterfly) English Name: butterfly valve: headstock disc disc disc plate and can rotate around the axis of the valve body of a valve rotating. Construction: mainly composed of valve body, valve stem, disc and sealing ring. The valve body is cylindrical and has short axial length and is internally provided with a plate.
- Q:Hey YA! I am looking at getting an 01 Honda Prelude this month and valve adjustment keeps coming up when people discuss this car and other cars as well. What is this? Does it cost a lot to do, and is it important? Thank you!
- Not at all a big expense most places should do it for $90 -150 including the gasket . Takes me about an hour to do one. If you don't adjust them eventually you could wear the cam possibly although I've never seen any issues from not doing it. If they are too tight then possibly they could've got the engine hot . If they are too loose which is what they should do as they wear they'll just be a little noisy until you get them adjusted if I can help in any other way please let me know hope this helps
- Q:e.g. a patient with a prosthetic aortic valve and a patient with a prosthetic mitral valve. Also, can you get stenosis of mechanical valves or just tissue grafts? Thanks!

- Q:What are single eccentric and double eccentric in butterfly valves? What's the difference, please explain in detail?
- Three eccentric butterfly valve: to high temperature, must use hard seal, but the leakage is large; to zero leakage, must use soft sealing, but not high temperature. In order to overcome the double eccentric butterfly valve this contradiction, and the butterfly valve for third times eccentric. The so-called third eccentric, that is, the shape of the sealing pair is not a positive cone, but rather oblique cone.Variable eccentric butterfly valve: variable eccentric butterfly valve is unique in that the valve stem axis installation disc is a three shaft type structure, the three stem shaft two concentric shafts, while the center section of the shaft center line and both ends of a center axis deviation distance, the installation disc in the middle section of the shaft. The eccentric structure makes the disc become double eccentric at full open position, and becomes eccentric when the disc rotates to the closed position. Due to the action of the eccentric shaft, near the close, the butterfly plate sealed to the seat by moving a distance within the cone, the butterfly plate and the valve seat sealing surface to achieve consistent and reliable sealing performance.
- Q:What does the butterfly valve model d344h, d345h, d346h, d347h mean?
- According to the international standard of the letters and numbers apart to explain D344H D is a unit of butterfly valve, two unit 3 is driving mode: turbine, three unit 4 connection: flange connection, four unit 4 Structure: seal type linkage, five unit H sealing material: Cr13 stainless steelD345H compare yourself to the above. Unit 5 four is a sealed, single eccentric structureD346H four unit 6 is an unsealed center vertical plateD347H four unit 7 is unsealed double eccentricIn general, there is only one difference between them: the structural form is different!
- Q:What's the difference between a butterfly valve and an eccentric butterfly valve? What is the difference in field applications?
- Eccentric butterfly valve and ordinary butterfly valve, when the butterfly valve is opened, the eccentric butterfly valve sealing surface will reduce great wear, in the opening, the disc will leave the valve at the first time the sealing surface!
- Q:Have an iron block, aluminum heads, solid roller lifters, Jessel rocker shafts, what should my valve clearances be cold, and hot??
- Well, generally it's going to be .030 intake and exhaust (hot). Adjust to those clearances cold then recheck at operating temp. But it would really help to know year, make, cu. in., which aftermarket heads, to be absolutely sure. On some engines it is .024 intake / .030 exhaust and so on, depends on the lifters and valve train geometry.. What brand of lifters and cam profile? Usually they will specify valve lash and adjusting procedures. Edit: Wow, kinda' tight valve lash, krazybob, ( might be a lttle tough on the old cam lobes), and then there is your timing numbers / advice with absolutely no details to base it on ( H.E.I.?..which brand? / mechanical advance curve?, and vacuum advance numbers?, cam timing, brand of lifters, cam specs, rocker arm ratio)...Look, S-51D, the best idea is to Do- It- Right using the correct adjustment specs. The data is out there, once the configuration is identified.
