Q: How do you draw the butterfly valve in the engineering drawing?
Butterfly valve there are many kinds of painting, mainly designed to draw on the staff, according to the design institute out of the icon.
Q: In the pipeline attached building Atlas 05S502, in the middle of a water meter and check valve, the two sides are divided into two butterfly valve, want to ask why to arrange this way, what is the role of the two butterfly valve?
Check the water gauge and check valve on both sides to facilitate the maintenance and replacement of water meter and check valve.
Q: What are the major disadvantages of butterfly valves?
Shortcoming:A. operating torque is large, such as larger diameter or high pressure, it needs to be equipped with larger actuators;B. leakage is large, ordinary type is 2%C;C. as the adjustment of some butterfly valve, its rotation angle is limited to 60. Adjustable range is small.
Q: Where are the exhaust valves, mud valves and butterfly valves?
Chemical plant with colloid, puffed agent and granule. Wine industry, paper industry. Butterfly valves are used in petroleum, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, textile, water and electricity, ships, urban water supply and drainage, smelting, and energy systems as regulating and intercepting devices.
Q: I have put a new pressure valve and replaced both thermostat
If you have replaced the TP valve, more than likely there is a heating element shorted to the tank. This will cause continuous heating and high temp/high pressure...good luck.
Q: I was wondering if someone could tell me the manufacturing date on this aircraft engine valve.
Wow Hannah! That's a cool find for sure! It appears to be possibly a valve for a radial aircraft engine as it looks very similar to ones i've seen used in Pratt+Whitney R3350's etc. It looks like it could probably date to the 1940's up thru the 1950's. Look for a Part Number stamped on the valve or on the box. After WW2 there were all kinds of manufacturers making parts for airplanes. Many were gobbled up by competitors, converted to manufacturing other products or went out of business altogether. However, a few did hang on....and I think this may be what has become of Thompson Aircraft today.... Thompson Aerospace, Inc 22431 Antonio Parkway B160-102 Rcho Sta Marg, CA 92688-2804
Q: i was changing valve seals and two dropped i can see the head of the valve but a magnet wont pull them up i put air the spark plug hole too but no luck 1985 ford bronco II
well depends .. how far the piston was down and if the valve is still in the valve guide. intake you may have to pull the intake and feed it up from the intake port .. exhaust .. pull the manifold and feed it back up from the exhaust port.. and last .. pull the head .. if the the valve is still in the guide and the piston is not at the top .. you may could turn the engine slowly by hand to the top the piston may push up the valve up . you may be able to pull the valve up then..
Q: Butterfly valves are widely used in 2.0MPa below the pressure and temperature of not more than 200 degrees of various media, right?
5. butterfly valve structureButterfly valve mainly by the body, butterfly plate, stem, sealing ring and transmission components.(1) the valve body is cylindrical, and the upper and lower parts each have a cylindrical boss for installing the valve stem. Butterfly valve and pipe flange connection, such as the use of clamp connection, the minimum length of its structure.(2) stem, stem is the axis of the butterfly plate, shaft end adopts stuffing box sealing structure, can prevent leakage of medium. The upper end of the valve stem is directly connected with the driving device to transmit the torque.(3) the butterfly plate is the opening and closing part of butterfly valve.
Q: When i waa replacing the valves in the las 4 valves , they dropped and i dont know how to make them go back up, and i dont want to take the engine out of the car, is there any tool to make the valve go back up or there is any way to do it?? People told me that i can crank it by and , but i dont know how to do it where do i have to do it, i need help please im begging for help!
Engine dis-assembly is now required .
Q: What is the difference between wafer (flangeless) type and LUG type of butterfly valves?
WAFER butterfly valve is the valve is divided into LUG (ears) with and without LUG, ordinary LUG without clip on 12 points in the direction of valve is generally two to four bolt holes was not, whereas the LUG of butterfly valve cross dispersed in a circle. Bolt hole. With LUG all bolted through the LUG, so that the butterfly valve and the clamp on the two flange connection is more solid, you check the valve picture, it is easy to understand
