Q: For whatever reason, Mazda has made it next to impossible to change the PCV valve on the 929. I'm going to have to pull off the plenum and the passenger's side valve cover to replace a $2.00 PCV valve. Before I get too involved, I need to know the torque specs for the valve cover. Also, any other tips on this process would be greatly appreciated. Can I reuse the old valve cover gasket if it's still in good shape? Should I use any kind of sealant in addition to the gasket when I put it all back together? Thanks in advance, by looking at this motor, I can tell I'll have my work cut out for me (for a friggin $2.00 PCV valve, it's usually SO simple!). Like I said, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Mazda 929 Specs
Q: What's the difference between a clip type turbine butterfly valve and a flanged turbine butterfly valve?
For clip butterfly valves, there are no flanges at the ends of the butterfly valve. There are only a few guide bolts. The valve is connected with the end flange with a set of bolts / nuts.In contrast, the demolition to facilitate some of the lower cost of the valve, but the drawback is that a sealing surface problems, the two sealing surfaces have to be taken apart.Flange butterfly valve at both ends of the flange, and pipe flange connection. The seal is relatively more reliable, but the valve is of relatively high cost.
Q: What's the difference between turbine butterfly valve and manual butterfly valve?
Butterfly (Manual butterfly) butterfly plate installed in the direction of the diameter of the pipe. In the butterfly valve body cylindrical channel, the disc shaped disc rotates around the axis. The angle of rotation is between 0 and -90 degrees. When rotating to 90 degrees, the valve is fully open.Butterfly valve structure is simple, small size, light weight, only by a few parts. The utility model can be rapidly opened and closed only by rotating 90 DEG, the operation is simple, and the valve has good fluid control characteristics. When the butterfly valve is in the fully open position, the butterfly plate thickness is the only resistance when the medium passes through the valve body, so the pressure drop produced by the valve is very small, so the flow control characteristic is better. Butterfly valve has an elastic seal and metal seal, two types of seals. Resilient sealing valve. The sealing ring can be mounted on the valve body or attached to the periphery of the disc.
Q: What do you mean by manual butterfly valve DN100 D341X-10?
DN100 refers to the inside diameter of the butterfly valveD stands for butterfly valves3 represents the turbine drive4 represents the flange connectionThe 1 represents straight throughX is the representative of the Dengqen rubber seal10 represents the pressure of 1.0Mpa (10 kg)Manual butterfly valve, also known as turn over plate valve, is a simple structure of the control valve, but also can be used for low pressure pipe medium switch control. Butterfly valve refers to the closure of parts (valve or butterfly plate) as the disk, around the valve shaft to achieve rotation and closing of a valve, the main cut off on the pipe and throttling role. Butterfly valve headstock is a disc shaped disc, in the valve body around its own axis of rotation, so as to achieve the purpose of opening or closing or regulation. Butterfly valve used in furnace, coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, city gas, hot and cold air, chemical smelting and power generation environmental protection engineering system, conveying a variety of corrosive and non corrosive media pipeline, used to adjust and cut off the media flow.
Q: I have put a new pressure valve and replaced both thermostat
so that should have fixed it I wonder if you needed to replace the stats
Q: For example, the arrow above is from left to right, and the direction of my current is from right to left. Is that ok? I have a diameter of 700 of the hard seal butterfly valve is so installed, but it will leak water, it will not leak, very serious
The direction of the arrow on the valve body refers to the direction of the medium. Also known as butterfly valve, control valve has a simple structure, can be used for low pressure pipeline valve switching control is closed parts (disc or disc) is a disk, around the valve axis to achieve the opening and closing a valve, the valve can be used to control the flow of air, water, steam steam, all kinds of corrosive medium, mud, oil, metals and radioactive liquid media and other types of fluid. On the pipeline, mainly from cutting and throttling. Butterfly valve headstock is a disc shaped disc, in the valve body around its own axis of rotation, so as to achieve the purpose of opening or closing or regulation.
Q: What is the meaning of American Standard butterfly valve B series
American Standard flange connection is divided into A, B series. A series for normal flanges, B series for compact flanges. 24 "to no AB series, flange standards for B16.5, 24" above B16.47.
Q: Three eccentric hard sealing butterfly valve, why not fit in the end of the pipe?
Three eccentric hard seal butterfly valve quality standards, up to zero leakage, but you mean the end of the direct discharge? If so, that's OK. First you have to calculate how much the pipe fluid pressure is.For example, the pipe fluid pressure is highest and the pressure is 1.6MPa (16 kg)Should choose three eccentric hard seal butterfly valve should be pressure 1.6MPa (16 kg)If you worry, optional 2.5MPa (25 kg) will not leak!Answer: three eccentric hard sealing butterfly valve can be installed at the end of the pipe
Q: Hi guys, i asked a question before pertaining to the amount of cylinders and asking if it meant V4 or V6 or whatever.I actually meant to say VALVES, not cylinders. IS there a direct correlation between VALVES and Clyinders..Eg, My car, which is a 2001 Neon LE states right on the engine block quot;16 VALVEquot; in bright letters. I am sure this is a 4 cylinder engine. I haven't had a car that broadcasted the number of VALVES before. Another car I had broadcast that is was a 3.3 Liter V6 right on the engine. Is there a mathematical relationship between VALVES and cylinders, or would my car be braodcasting 16 VALVES, because a 4 cylinder doesn't typically HAVE 16 valves, or what is the story??Recently, I was looking at an altima, and it said 24 valves. Can you tell just by the number of valves if it is a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder or whatever??Thanks.
for every cylinder there is 4 valves..
Q: Which is more expensive, gate valve or butterfly valve?
Same diameter, the same material, with the pressure level, the weight of the gate valve is much heavier than the butterfly valve, about 2 times of the butterfly valve!
