Q: i just got it like 3 days ago and its no signs of infection and im just worried it might get that way. ive been reading online about people who got infections and people who had all this crap happen. what do i need to do to stop one from coming i mean i use contact solution and cotton swabs wipe it down with wet ones and clean it when i sweat and turn it twice a day.. im always careful about keeping it clean im a neat clean freak but is there anything else i can do to stop infection from coming: sounds like what your doing is fine. just keep it clean that's basically all you can do.

You can't put a retainer on also, cause only titanium or stainless steel material are proper for an open wound aka a new piercing. This piercing is not easy to heal and can stay irritated for long. It goes through cartilage and you have to be really careful with the aftercare and the piercer's info if you want to keep the piercing and yourself healthy. You have to be careful and not touch it or play with it and twist it or take it out. You clean this piercing with sea salt soaks or non alcohol antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day. You dry it with paper towels. If you can do the above daily and be extra careful go get it done. Gluck

Q: I know the ivy sort of glues itself to whatever surface with little sticky pads so that will take care of itself on the back of my house but can I use the existing Ivy for the wisteria to grab onto and climb up or will the wisteria be too heavy and pull the ivy down? I'd rather avoid having to build something for the wisteria to wrap itself around. Any suggestions? Thanks! : ): The wisteria will climb on anything and everything it can get it's tendrils on. But are you sure you want it on your ivy? Wisteria is the most aggressive grower,and will overtake the ivy, choking it out. As a matter of fact it's not the kind of plant to have close to your house. I know,the blooms are pretty and all but the rest of the plant is a holy terror on your siding,shingles,etc. If you still want to plant it near your house, choose a spot well clear of the power lines that supply your electricity.
