Q: My pool vacuum has no suction and I have no psi rating, my polaris wont work either. Is something clogged how do I unclog it?: Some Polaris' are pressure washers and need a separate pump to make them work. Others are vacuum side cleaners and use your pool pump to power them. Check your filter it is likely dirty and causing low pressure and low water flow. You're welcome!!

Q: No central air or heat, so in winter windows are cracked and in summer windows are screened but opened. I bought the air purifier to help with allergies and after 2 nights it does seem to help, but think I need to go back and get the larger one. This one is for room 10 x 12 and my room is 16 x 13 and is connected to kitchen with no dividing door. The difference between commercial vacuum cleaners and the domestic machines is that the commercial ones are bigger, have a more powerful motor and are heavier. You need not worry about damaging your carpet by using a commercial cleaner; the dirt will be sucked out more effectively but not that powerfully to spoil the strands. So far as the rest of your house is concerned, a bigger vacuum cleaner will do a better job of cleaning even the nooks and corners. People go for the smaller domestic versions as they are not expensive and consume less electricity. I have a commercial vacuum cleaner and use it both in my home and adjacent office and am delighted with the results.

Q: the sound comes on, but it doesn't suck anything up and the thingy underneath (dont know the technical term) doesn't turn. it's an old vacuum( a kerby). what's wrong with it. should i try to get this one fixed or just buy a new one. are there places that fix vacuum cleaners? thanks for any info.: Kirby's are very good vaccums and if you go to a Kirby store you can trade in your broken one for a new one and it will only cost a small amount.
