Q: The garage developers and construction side have been used, and many times changed hands. Remote control is my stay to me, the source is unknown. Whether the other remote control for the code do not know, and now dare not put other things other than the car
If not assured, only the code.
Q: I have no idea what is wrong with it, it just stopped opening, with both the car opener (I replaced the battery, so that's not it) & the main opener inside the garage. I am not mechanically inclined so please keep it simple. There are no instructions :(thanks in advance
wood tick gives good advice. Sounds like a broken belt/chain maybe. If the red handle has been pulled you will see the belt or chain moving the door bracket socket moving back and forth. The good news is by pulling the red handle and lifting the door by hand you can get your cars out. I will need more info to help. But,it sounds like a tech call sorry if you have tried all of these things.
Q: Automatic door password Many people know, how to change the new
This access control controller is operating instructions Remember that this is generally modified as follows: * Management password * 0 Access password # Each lock is not the same, it is recommended that you look for instructions, in accordance with the home code to modify the settings
Q: why don't fast food restaurants have automatic doors?
Some do, but it's really a matter of cost. Those doors are expensive to buy, install and maintain. Some store owners can't or won't spend the money on them.
Q: Okay so I has a 00 chevy silverado with manual locks an I found a pair of automatic locks from another truck that's a chevy Sierra 00 . If I take the out of that truck would I be able to put them in mine ? And also can I do that with the automatic windows to ?
If your year of truck came with electric locks as an option, the plug will be in the door. All you have to do is add the hardware, change out the door panels to fit the buttons.
Q: I've followed the instructions in the owners manual where it says to have your car ignition in the on position, then within ten seconds shift to park and press/hold the door luck button for at least 5 seconds. It says that when the function has been set, the doors will unlock & lock. I've tried this multiple times (both with the car engine on & off, with the doors locked & unlocked), but nothing seems to work. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has run into the same problem and if so, how did you fix it?
I have just the opposite problem. I bought the Le with premium package and I need to turn headlights on. Yet my 2010 corolla they turned on automatically.
Q: I wanna tell someone who asked.
There have been 48 deaths in the last decade from automatic garage doors closing on people. Ouch. That's all I could find. The rest are just injuries from different automatic doors.
Q: Automatic doors can only open the reasons can not be closed
If the motor can be opened, indicating that the motor is no problem. The problem may occur on the controller. Controller is issued by the circuit board to change the direction of DC positive and negative direction to change the motor steering, in order to make the door run switch action. Most of this situation is generally a problem with the circuit board, different manufacturers in this circuit board to write the program is not the same. Therefore, after the failure of the circuit board is determined, it is best to contact the supplier to solve the problem (own solution Success rate is very small).
Q: We have a Chrysler town & country van that is about 5 years old. It has automatic doors where you press a button to open the sliding side doors, but recently one of the doors gets stuck in the middle and you have to push the door the rest of the way. We cannot see anything stuck on the track and we have tried oiling it, but as time goes on place where the door stops is gradually moving. Any ideas on what the problem is? Thanks!
The wiring harness for the door (it looks like a plastic bicyle chain) has a broken wire. When the door slides back to a certain point, the wire comes apart. Replacement should be about $150-200 dollars. If you are handy, you can try to open up the harness and repair the broken wires.
Q: I have a 2004 Mercedes c230 sedan. The rear-driver-side door lock is broken. The physical knob that goes up and down is completely loose, not connected to anything, won't screw on to anything. It's just sitting there in the little hole. It does not lock or unlock with the automatic locks. The door is in a permanent lock from the outside, however it can be opened from the inside. Any ideas? Is this any easy fix? Could I do it myself? Thanks!
These are air driven locks and likely the line has become disconnected or blocked. The fact that the lever is loose could also mean there are some other mechanical issues. With average logic and resourcefulness you should be able to figure out what is wrong by comparing it to the other rear door. The most difficult task is removing the door panels which can be tricky. You might also try researching the MCBA website and there posted technical articles.
