- Q: Building materials distribution business projects can increase the cement products and steel it?
- Building materials distribution business projects can increase the cement products and steel cement: water mixing into a plastic slurry, can cement sand, stone and other materials both in the air hardening and hardening in the water of the powder-like hydraulic cementitious material
- Q: he has had an epidural they are wanting to give another this coming week but it is not an answer . he is only 40 runs his own business, hands own. i do not know anything about this cement bones together i would appreciate any info or if anyone has had this done ,please let me know how it went, thank you
- if okorder its is a good resource.
- Q: I realize it is possible but the only formula I found had gasoline. Are there any other formulas?
- A rubber cement is a mixture of an adhesive and a solvent. The solvent evaporates and leaves behind the adhesive. The most common solvents are n-hexane and n-heptane. You may be able to find the solvents at a larger paint store, especially one that deals with commercial products as opposed to normal consumer products.
- Q: I have a patio that is half cement and half open space. I want to put cement blocks/slabs in the open space. I've had mulch and rock; however, I am tired of that look. I was told I could not cement the open space because it will crack in the future so I am wondering if I can put sand under cement slabs/blocks in the open space. Someone suggested I put white rock, but I want a flat surface so that my niece and play back there. Any suggestions, please?
- You are going have to put some form of bedding like crushed stone under the sand first sand itself won't do the job as for cement that won't do either using concrete is the preferred method again laying on a bedding of crushed stone you don't specify the area you want to cover over so all I can say is you will need to excavate the area firstly to a depth of 6 inches minimum that will allow for 2 inches of crushed stone a weed blocker/plastic sheeting 2 inches of sand and cement dry mix and using a slab 2 inches deep to rest on there. Also a slight slope will need to be made to allow surface water run away from house and not be allowed flow back towards your patio. If you decide to use concrete again cut out 6 inches of ground and 3 inches of crushed stone weed blocker and a concrete slab when pouring concrete try to keep it semi dry,too much water is not good as when concrete drys it shrinks and can cause cracking later,I don't think you would have to re-inforce it as you won't be using the car on there ok.
- Q: So I am doing a little project outside. I need to connect a pvc pipe to a rubber hose. water will be flowing between these two. I am going to use some sort of sealent along with a clamp thingy but wondering what type of sealent should i use. Is there a particular one should i use?
- There's many different cements/adhesives for different applications available on the market today. Read the labels. I'm sure one of the general-purpose cements would be just what you're looking for.
- Q: I am in UZbekistan. We need to buy G class cement but we dont have such a brand name locally. So I would like to know what are the parameters of G class cement as we might have such a cement produced locally but it might have dofferent classification name.

- Q: ive been waterproofing basements for 13 years. we jackhammer concret all day and the basements get very dusty. masks are worn but their not 100%
- i like tiny's answer... though, i don't do that stuff... concrete is very bad for you. not QUITE as bad as asbestos, but damned close to it. you can get emphysema, lung cancer, CONCRETE OPHTHALMIA etc etc from prolonged exposure, just like you can get concrete poisoning from laying wet concrete and not washing it off of you. i'd find a new line of work and do something to clean out your lungs.. i hope you aren't a smoker on top of that. as far as masks go, that obviously helps, but it depends on the quality of the mask obviously. I would assume you know the difference -most likely better than i would.
- Q: Why does wet cement have a strange odour?
- Stop sniffing cement you might hurt yourself !!! The odor is from CHEMICALS It can burn thin skin (skin of dishpaned hands not used to doing cement work) call your local masonary supply for a qualified mason reference.
- Q: A bag of cement weighing 350 N hangs in equilibrium from three wires as suggested in the figure below. Two of the wires make angles θ1 = 61.0° and θ2 = 41.0° with the horizontal. Assuming the system is in equilibrium, find the tensions T1, T2, and T3 in the wires.T1 = T2 = T3 =
- The tension in the third wire is equal to the weight of the bag of cement. The sum of the vertical components of the tension in each of the other wires is equal to the tension in the third wire. So, the sum of the vertical components of the tension in each of the other wires is equal the weight of the bag of cement. Vertical component = T * sin θ For the left wire, vertical component = T1 * sin 61 For the right wire, vertical component = T2 * sin 41 Eq#1: T1 * sin 61 + T2 * sin 41 = 350 Since the system is in equilibrium, the magnitude of the horizontal components of the tension in each of the other wires is equal. Horizontal component = T * cos θ Eq#2: T1 * cos 61 = T2 * cos 41 T1 = T2 * cos 41/cos 61 Substitute (T2 * cos 41/cos 61) for T1 in Eq#1, and solve for T2. T2 * cos 41/cos 61 * sin 61 + T2 * sin 41 = 350 T2 * (cos 41/cos 61 * sin 61 + sin 41) = 350 T2 = 350 ÷ (cos 41/cos 61 * sin 61 + sin 41) = 173.4741944 N This is approximately 173.5 N Substitute 173.4741944 for T2 in Eq#1 and solve for T1. Eq#1: T1 * sin 61 + 173.4741944 * sin 41 = 350 T1 = (350 – 173.4741944 * sin 41) ÷ sin 61 = 270.0495844 N This is approximately 270 N. To check this answer, substitute both answers in Eq#2: T1 * cos 61 = T2 * cos 41 270 * cos 61 = 173.5 * cos 41 131 = 131 This proves that the tensions are correct! I hope that my work has helped you understand how to solve this type of problem.
- Q: My e-reader is malfunctioning due to a small metal hinge (which protrudes from the case of the unit) and is triggering electrical current and causing a short. My purpose is not to adhere anything, but actually to apply this glue to dry as a kind of non conductive coating. If this doesn't work, is there another kind of household product that someone can recommend?
- contact cement is rubber based, so it is not conductive. but it is also not very strong and easily rubbed off. a better option would be 5 minute clear Epoxy, stong and durable and plastic based so also non-conductive.
