Q: The cooked meat can be guaranteed for several days in vacuum packed with aluminium foil bags
With ordinary nylon bag vacuum, sterilization can be stored for 1~3 months;

Q: I wish to rivet sheets of Tin over the windows in my old Leyland bus.will this cause any ill effect/harm? Thanks
There are several issues hereOne is that both aluminum and galvanized steel (which is what I think you mean by 'tin sheets') will corrodeAluminum corrosion is usually not a problem because it is self-limiting (the corrosion seals the surface of the aluminum and prevents further corrosion), but corrosion of galvanized steel is not and can eventually cause the sheets to completed disappearFortunately, this usually takes some timeYou didn't say how long you are expecting these 'patches' to lastThe other issue is galvanic corrosion at the point where the aluminum and galvanized steel come togetherAny time dissimilar metals are joined, there is a migration of electrons from one metal to the other that can cause corrosion of the jointI would not expect this to be any more severe than the corrosion that will take place where the bare steel is exposed (the rivet holes)Bottom line - I think there will be corrosion, but that the most likely effect is that the galvanized steel patches are more likely to suffer from destructive corrosion than the aluminum skin of the vehicle.
Q: I bought The Vaccine Book by DrSears and found it to be VERY interestingI am alarmed at the high amounts of aluminum in many vaccines babies getI have a preemie (the reason I decided to investigate vaccines)My son is 10.5 pounds and a safe amount of aluminum in a 12 pound baby is 30 microgramsMany vaccines contain anywhere from 125-675 micrograms in each shot! ScaryI have decided to get him vaccinated but am requesting aluminum free brands when I can and spacing his shots outOne shot a monthI am also skipping several shots I think are unnecessaryI'm not anti-vaccines or proEveryone has their own opinionThat was just my personal choiceJust curious on every one else's opinionPenny for your thoughts.
You can add almond extract and sprinkle with crushed almonds before baking-yum!
Q: I'm making a bracelet of magazine beads and I read to wrap them tightly because they'll last longer but I was wondering if ill still be able to pull them off after they dry if I wrap them that tight? Sorry I'm new to crafting.
A cake mix makes 2 layers; so if you use 2 mixes you'd have too much for 3 layersbut you can use 1 regular white cake mix, and then make a package of Jiffy cake mix (which is much smaller)Substitute sour cream or yogurt for the liquid called for in the mixes, and be sure to beat them at least 3 minAfter all 3 layers are cooled, put them together with strawberry jam (or whipped cream with sliced strawberries)You can frost it with sweetened whipped cream, with sliced strawberries on top
Q: USE YOUR KNOWLEDE OF BONDING TO EXPLAIN?.aluminium combines readily with both dry flourine and dry chlorine.anyhydrous aluminium chloride is a white solid which sublimes at about 200 degres celcius ;it reacts with water and dissolves in non-polar solvents.alumiunium flouride is a crystalline solid up to tepreture in excess of 1290 degrees celcius ; it is insoluble in non polar solvents .
Aluminium is an electropositive element, its valence shell has 3 electrons known as 3s2 3p1 so it has tendancy to give its 3 electrons to an electronegative ele emts sich as fluorine and chlorine which have both 7 electrons on the valence shell and so aluminium can give 3 electrons to 3 atms of chlorine or fluorine to complete their valence shell
Q: OK I am a manI have a company Christmas lunch tomorrow and I'm expected to bring a veggie side dishI kinda know how to boil waterI don't know any good recipesI need a recipe for some kind of small veggie thing I can bake in the oven in a glass bowl or something I was thinking of going to Boston Market and dumping all the veggie stuff from there in a bowl and throwing some plastic wrap over the top like I made it.

Q: i'm making a charm bracelet using scraps of an aluminum can(going green!) they are small little scraps that i (of course) sanded down to make the edges softerhowever, they could still be harmful because of how thin the aluminum issimple question: how could i make them thicker? what type of solution could i buy or make that would sort of create a thick clear coat for my charms? i was thinking maybe i could just cover the charms in hot glue (since i already have it)but it would create a rubbery texture and might cloud the designthen i was thinking of just using many many layers of clear coat nail polish (since i already have it) but that's just too time consuming.

Q: I HAVE A SMALL LEAK BETWEEN THE COPPER TUBE ON THE COMPRESSOR AND THE ALUMINIUM COIL ON THE CONDENSER THE AC REPAIR MAN ATTEMPTED TO FIX IT WITH SOME TYPE OF SEALER BUT COULDN'T AND SAID THE WHOLE UNIT WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED IS THERE ANY WAY TO PERMANENTLY STOP THE LEAK EITHER THRU SOLDERING OR A COUPLING
Yes it can be repairedYour a/c guy is not very sharp if he cannot do itHe may just want to sell you a replacement unit There is a 45% silver yellow brazing wire specially designed for connecting dissimilar metals such as copper aluminumOne can even use it to connect steel and copper-but its NOT cheapAll the refrigerant will need to be recovered, then a trickle of nitrogen should be running through the system to avoid flaking oxidation on the inside of the pipe(s)The joint should be extremely clean and something called stay-silv flux should be usedNOT plumbing fluxThe heat can be something as cool as mapp gasOxy-acetylene not required(actually too hot) A HVAC tech with the skills to do this type of brazing should be kept on speed dialI used to teach 1st year refrigeration principles students how to do this type of brazing.
Q: What is the difference between aluminum foil and aluminum foil? Can I use it in the oven? Are aluminum foil heating toxic?
Aluminum foil paper is thinner, if it is edible, it is non-toxic.
