Introduction
Aluminum foil is aluminum prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mil) are also commonly used. In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mil) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mil). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes lamilated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminum foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.

- 1) Use as many rounds at the range as you want/affordUnless you have a high end competition class rifle, there is no break-in period2) Clean/lube the BCG and quick clean of the bore and receivers when you come back from the rangeA more thorough cleaning every 500-1000 rounds or if you don't plan to use it for a long time3) To learn how to dissemble and clean, first RTFMThere are also tons and tons of YouTube vids on cleaning AR-15s4) You only have to worry about melting front sight if it is directly mounted on the gas block5) Generally if you are allowed to possess an AR, you are allowed to use it as home defenseThere are many opinions as to the usefulness of an AR in that role and laws in different states vary widely on what might be considered justified or nor for home defense6) Foregrips have their purpose and there are a variety of styles and ways to use them They will not help you to shoot more accurately, but they may help control the muzzle when you fire rapidly or have many targetsI suggest you first learn to shoot without the foregrip and take advantage of YouTube to see how people use them.
