Q: I just made a batch of cinnamon rolls and I don't have my cake carrierThey're for an event tomorrow and I want to keep them as fresh as possible until thenShould I put them in the fridge? The oven, maybe? Where will the best place to store them and how (i.e., cover with aluminum foil? etc.)Thanks!
Not a great idea, especially considering that a good interior oil paint should last about 10 years.
Q: I have a science project where I have to make some sort of box that can keep the heat inside of itThere is also going to be some container that has to be put in the box, that will be filled with some warm or hot water and my box/insulated device, has to keep the water as warm as it can beI can only make this out of wood, paper, cardboard, natural fibers, organic granular material, aluminum foil, and fastening materials, such as tape, glue, screws, bolts, nuts, nails, string, etcSome prohibited materials include any type of foam (plastic, medal, expandable glue, etc.), plastic (except for as part of fastening materials listed above), bubble wrap, glass, commercial insulation, etcI really want to get a good grade on this so please help meThank you :-)
We always used two nested styrofoam cups in a lab experiment Making a calorimeter from them was a popular high school project Without something like styrofoam, the ideal would be to trap a vacuum, the next ideal would be to trap dry air The aluminum foil could be used to reflect radiant heat, natural fibers could be used to trap air and wood could be used to make the containers, basically a foil lined box inside a larger box with material to trap air between them I'd be tempted to crumple paper to trap the air.
Q: How to remove words on aluminium foil used in medicine package? Is there any easy way?
Words printed on it is organic matter and can be corroded by concentrated sulfuric acid. Since aluminium plate is protected by oxidation film in its appearance, it's ok to do so. But you should be careful when you operate for plastic plate may also be corroded. Only teflon and high density polyethylene are anti-corrosion, but they are with higher price and therefore won't be used in normal situation.
Q: I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!! okay so i got caught stealing 1000 dollars worth of aluminum tubing from a nursery and i did it with two of my freinds that are no longer my freindsthey did not get in trouble i told the cops it was all mei got charged with theft in the 1st degree which is a felony and also charged for criminal mischief for cutting the tubing upbut i didnt cut it up my freinds didi have court in a few weeks and im not sure what to doI NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Let the first layer cool on the counter before removing from the panabout 1 hourUse aluminium foil pans if you do not have two pansDo this so you can bake the second layer, while the first is coolingWhen the second layer is done, let that cool about 1 hourMake your frosting while it coolsWhen both are cool spread the icing/filling and wrap up the stacked layers with Saran and then you can refrigerate the whole layer cake so far, for about 1 hour, this will keep the cake from crumbing while frosting it, frost the whole cakeOnce the icing is on you can refrigerate the cake again preferably overnight, or as long as you want until 15 - 20 minutes before slicing and servingI think that if you bake one day ahead, the cake will firm up better to be able to slice it more easilyUse a sharp knife.
Q: I just made some baklava to take to class tomorrow for my project, but on the instructions I followed, it said not to cover it as it will get soggyIt's cooled down by now, but I don't really know what to do with itIt's in a 9x13 aluminum pan that came with a clear plastic lidDo I just put the lid on it and leave it out or should I put it in the fridge uncovered?
You don't need to put it in a container or in the fridgeIf I were you, I'd leave it in the pan and place a piece of aluminum foil over it, but don't tuck the foil in or cover it tightlyJust allow the foil to lie loosely on top of the baklava.
Q: It sat in my basement in storage for about a year, and must not have been cleaned well firstI soaked it in HOT water for about an hour and then scrubbed it with a Brillo pad, to no avail.
Soak in bleach and water and scrub again with BrilloThe stain may remain, but the mold will be deadYou can cover the pan with aluminium foil so as not to see the stain.
Q: I'm going to make vanilla bean buttercream frosting, but I'm worried that if I put it in the fridge, it will absorb unwanted flavorsI don't have glass containers, nothing but plastic bags and Glad containersIt only needs to be stored until MondayI may be a little naive when it comes to some simple cooking things, but I'm just 15 ^_^
line the bottom of the plastic container with aluminum foil, then spoon the exess frosting into the containerthen fold the foil over into kind of a dome shape and put a lid on it and store in the fridge in the crisperand you'll be just finebut i do my own private cupcake and cake business and often times i am too busy to use foil that much and i just store it in any sealed container and i have never had a problembut if you are worried, the foil will help, and let the frosting sit out for about 20 min before remeving it from the foilgood lukk
Q: How do you curl a low heat resistant, synthetic wig?Ive tried before without putting anything in it, but the curl wouldn't stay
