Introduction
Aluminum foil is aluminum prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mil) are also commonly used. In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mil) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mil). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes lamilated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminum foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.

- Most frames either have a powder coating on them or they are painted.So there is no way to bring it to a real shine unless you strip the material off the outside ,then sand it with 1000 grit paper to get all the adherence lines out then you can get out the buffer and rouge.This is what I do on the side for extra money,been doing it for the past 10 yrs mostly on street bikes.I would not steer you wrong on this my friend.If your bike is already stripped and shined and you want to bring it back then use what I use,and you will be totally amazed at the results.I have tried everything from Wenol to stuff made in Germany that cost 25 bucks for a small tube and you had to get all 4 steps to make it work right.Mothers billet aluminum polish is the stuff-not the regular mothers in the red and white can-this stuff is almost 20 bucks for the can.But if you get it follow the directions exactly and WOW it will shine.I use aircraft stripper to remove the material from the bikes I work on.If you need any tips e me

- Aluminium chlorohydrate is a group of specific aluminium salts having the general formula AlnCl(3n-m)(OH)m. It is used in deodorants and antiperspirants and as a coagulant in water purification. Aluminium chloride is just AlCl3. The chlorohydrate is just a partially hydrolysed form of AlCl3. So in water both will give you Al3+ Cl- ions as well as the ions from water, so the term 'largely the same thing ' is fine. The health issues are similar; I presume you know about the research on aluminium uptake and alzheimers?

- this is the safest and most efficient wayfirst you will need pure acetone, aluminum foil, cotton balls or rounds, and an orange wood or manicure stickthen cut 10 aluminum foils into little squares about 2 inches widesoak a cotton ball in acetone, place it on your nail and wrap the foil tightly around your finger holding the cotton in placedo this for each nail and wait about 10 minutesafter 10 minutes is up, there still will be a little bit of residue on your nail so take an orange wood stick and scrape it off gentlyalso, i would suggest doing one hand at a time!
