Q: I have a little RC tank that has been sitting in the basement for forever, and I got the idea that I could have a buddy drive it while I plink away at itI have a variety of sheet metal, aluminum and steel that I want to mount on the tank as not to destroy itWhat thickness of both metals would be needed to stop the pellet reliably? I back the metal with cheap craft leather, so denting isn't a problemJust how much is needed to stop the pellet?
Crochet is harder to learn, but it goes by fasterKnitting is easier to understand but it can be a little slower than crochetPersonally I prefer knitting because I always need something mindless to do with my handsIn any case, you should buy a simple How-To book on whichever hobby you chooseFor crochet, you will need; -At least one crochet hook; I recommend a US H/8 aluminum hook-A ball of yarn (preferably something over 90 yards.) -A How-To Crochet book For Knitting: -Size 10 straight needles (Super-long ones can be difficult to learn with, so I'd say something no longer than seven inches.) -If you plan on making hats or bags, you'll need size 10 or so circular needlesThese look like two really short knitting needles attached with a plastic loop-A ball of yarn (at least 100 yards) -How-To Knit book Lion Brand Yarn is an excellent, affordable brand to start off with and is carried at most storesTheir yarns are generally soft, bright, and long-lastingIf you go to Michael's, they probably have some on saleGood luck!
Q: Best recipe for corned beef and cabbage?
This is the best I've ever had - even people who don't like corned beef and cabbage like this! I'm giving you the link to the page too so you can read all of the reviews of the recipe! INGREDIENTS 1 (5 1/2 pound) corned beef brisket 2 tablespoons pickling spice 1 large orange, sliced in rounds 2 stalks celery, sliced 1 large onion, sliced 1/2 cup cold water 6 tablespoons margarine, divided 1 large head cabbage, cored and sliced 1 cup Golden Delicious apples, cored and quartered with peel 1/4 cup cold water DIRECTIONS Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C)Line a 9x13 inch roasting pan with aluminum foil, leaving enough extra extending over the sides to cover and seal in the roastRinse the brisket, and pat dryRub with pickling spice, and place in the prepared roasting panArrange celery, orange and onion slices on and around the roastPour in 1/2 cup of water, and wrap aluminum foil up over the roast tightly, making sure the ends are sealedBake for about 4 hours in the preheated oven, or until meat is tenderAbout 45 minutes before the roasts time is up, heat 3 tablespoons of margarine and 1/4 cup of water in a large potAdd cabbage and apples, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutesOccasionally shake the pot so that nothing sticks to the bottomServe with remaining margarine and sliced corned beef.
Q: Cooked frozen pizzas for about 20 minutes, all seemed fine, then just when it was done, lots of smoke from a sausage piece that fell down into the aluminum foil, when I opened the door the smoke came spilling out into my kitchen, lots of it, shouldn't there be some fan built into the oven to prevent that? Is something wrong with the oven?
ya its lower but for the use it does not make any difference recycle aluminium consist of one in million dust this can be detected by checking the density u cannot distinguish between those by your naked eeye if my answer is useful to you please vote my answer as best answer
Q: Felt- does it last?Aluminum foil- will it turn colors or fall apart after years?Cloths and ribbons?Just starting out and had some ideas.if those are usable- what's a good substitute? Also, what do you like to use to make your pages stand out?
felt often is not really good dye in it, and it will bleed onto the paper and the plastic color, foil will get dull, fabric and ribbon are often used, you can get silver leafing at michaels to put on things, i got some for under ten dollars you use gold leaf sizing and a very soft brush, and you can save every little scrap that comes off the edges and use in other projectsyou can use buttons, some of the thin wild yarns out now like eyelash and fur type yarns, you can use lace though i perfer laser done lace stickers from mrs grossmans, they are truly beautiful but not cheap, right now , like tomorrow, joanns has scrapbook paper 6 sheets for a dollar instead of the two sheets for a dollar it usually islots of their scrap book doo dads are on sale as well and they had some close outs that were super cheap, plus they have a rack of dollar scraping stuff.
Q: A longitudinal standing wave can be created in a long, thin aluminum rod by stroking the rod with very dry fingersThis is often done as a physics demonstration, creating a high-pitched, very annoying whineFrom a wave perspective, the standing wave is equivalent to a sound standing wave in an open-open tubeIn particular, both ends of the rod are anti-nodes.What is the fundamental frequency of a 1.90 m-long aluminum rod?
before you paint you need to address why there is moisture in the first placeit is not there just from your use of the bathroom you need to check under the house odds are there is the problem if you paint now and dont take care of the moisture your just throwing away money common problem is the toilet it may be leaking just under the ground if it is extremely wet under therelot of proswant to lay plastic down DO NOT ALLOW THIS it will just trap moisture if the mold is bad under the home then salt is your best option salt from a water softener as it dissolves it will ruin the water for any pest living off of it and as the water evaporates it will adhere to the wood and leaving trace amounts of salt this salt will kill the mold if you can afford rock salt for thaw even betteri have seen many rooms get ruined due to moisture not being located there is a cheep way to help out the studs are 16 in apart centerdrill about a 1 in hole at the top of the wall in between each stud and leave it open this will allow air into the wall and aid it in drying and if you dont like the holes can cover with wood trim just make sure not to cover the hole fully will need a gap there is no insulation on interior walls and the reason is due to moisturebut most showers are on the outer wall and there is insulation it will collect moisture and it takes forever to dry better homes built today have holed drilled so that the air can flow from under the house up into the attic but i would not do this unless screen was addedif this moisture leads into the ceiling you should remove the insulation from its spot till it dries some of the egg cartons laid under the insulation before placing it back will help .

Q: I am doing a project and i am making a doveI just want to cover a styrofoam (plastifoam ball as it is called) in clay to make its bodyIt is the clay you bake to dryPlease i need an answer fast!
I wouldn't do itStyrofoam burns with quite a mess and the smoke is rather toxicIf you have polymer clay you might want to use something like aluminum foilAt least it won't melt.
Q: I need help for homework on what the crystal shape of shale is (if any)
First, get everything in the same termsYou're using both yards and feetI'd convert the yards to feet, and then probably convert everything to inchesYou have enough information in terms of angles and distance to find the missing side (both sides are the same)In fact, I'll bet you could put one backstop on the other and get a rectangle out of the deal, and you know the width and height of thatFrom there you can figure out the tubing (don't forget the center line of the rectangle, twice - one for each side), and the square footage is the area of the rectangle (width height).
