Q: which is the best, cling wrap, aluminium or grease paper.or shud u just leave the food without a wrap.[this is talking about a cheese sandwich] then which one doesnt mould quicker
The bread will dry out pretty quickly if you leave the sandwich unwrappedWhether you use aluminum foil or cling wrap, the cheese will mold in the same length of timeCling wrap will keep it from getting stale and dry longer than aluminum foilBut, a plastic zipper sandwich size bag would work better, if you have one.
Q: Can I use dyne pen to test the wetting tension in the appearance of aluminum foil? What's the standard?
What kind of dyne pen imported from America enjoy the highest cost performance? The method can accurately measure the surface tension of the base material, surface wet strength and determine the surface factors of base material. Relative humidity should not exceed the standard since high humidity is easy to aggravate the variability of data.
Q: (sorry about all the question marks title has to be 20 characters long)I'm living in a fancy schmancy mansion with fancy schmancy appliances (long story) and the microwave has a metal tray in itSince when was metal in microwaves okay (it is ceramic-coated metal though)? It's a Gaggenau microwave it also works as a grill though but is it really a microwave??I'm anti-microwave so it would be cool if it is really a high tech microwave-like non-microwave, but the manual just calls it a microwave and doesn't go into much detail because it has to fit about 10 languages into the manual, or because you already bought it so they don't need to sell you itAnyways, what's your thoughts? Any microwave pros out there?
If metal was not allowed in microwaves, then how are they MADE out of metal? Think on that for a bitThe problem is not large pieces of metal - the problem is smaller pieces of metal close enough to a larger piece where an electrical arc can occurThere are ways to use metal in a microwave to where it does not arcFor example, some pop-top microwavable meals (used to be called Lunch Buckets, years ago) have a metal rim around itThe rim is smooth, is not grooved or has any gaps - it goes in the microwave fine, as long as it isn't touching the metal wall of the microwave, it does just fineMetal doesn't absorb microwaves, it reflects it -and only when you get two pieces of metal close, but not touching, in a microwave does it cause problems Crinkled aluminum foil can create arcs - but not a perfectly flat pieceSteel wool, because it has so many tiny little gaps in it, creates many arcs and catches fire in a microwaveSo it isn't like metal isn't allowed in the microwave - but it can be used in a safe manner if you know what you are doing.
Q: Assume everyone in the US consumes one aluminum can every TWO DAYSIf there are 270 million Americans, how many TONS of aluminum are needed a YEAR if ONE CAN weighs ONE OUNCE
1.53 tons so round it and it will be 1 and a half tons of aluminumI guarantee that is the right answer.
Q: I have a Wirlpool dryer model WED7500VW0It's a little over a year old, and saw minimal usage, as we were away 6 month out of the year.Today I tried drying the clothes, put it to normal dry,as always, and noticed that the glass door became wet after a little whileI stopped the dryer and opened the door, it was really wetThere was heat inside the dryer, but when I touched the clothes, it was wet.I dried the door and put the 20 min cycle onSame result after 20 min.PS: I checked the lint collector and it was clean, which is unusual after 20 min drying. What is wrong with the dryer?
the problem is in the vent hose. You need to find where the dryer vents outside.it may have water in it that froze and created a block of lint and ice or it may just be clogged with lint.usually happens at a bend or crease.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS HOW MANY HOUSE FIRES START!.The air is not getting outside. If you have flex hose check every bend and check the outlet in the back of the dryer at the bottom where the vent or flexhouse attaches to your dryer.for emergency drying like have to work in the morning, disconnect the vent from the dryer, pull it away from the wall a bit, put a piece of aluminum foil or something metal against the wall where the vent will be blowing and let it vent in the house then find the clog in the vent tomorrow
Q: I don't have muffin cupsWhat can I use instead in the oven?
When you say you don't have muffin cups, are you referring to a muffin tin or to the paper liners for cupcakes? If you don't have the paper liners.just spray the muffin tin with cooking spray or grease them with shortening and your muffins/cupcakes will come out perfectly If you are saying that you don't have a muffin tin.then you can try placing muffin paper liners close together in a square pan and filling them with your muffin/cupcake batter (about 1/2 full) They won't hold a perfectly round shape this way, but they will still be individual sizes and very edible!!! When you ask about aluminum.if you are talking about aluminum foil or the disposable aluminum pans that you buy at the grocery store, then YES, these both can be placed in the ovenHope this helps!
Q: Months ago, I used a glue stick for the panelsI used Elmer's school glue for another solar ovenI did not use 50/50 water and Elmer's school glueThe aluminum foil on the panels that I used the glue stick for, it made a wrinkle pattern like bricks fitting together. Why did the foil get wrinkles after I smoothed out all the wrinkles on all the panels after the glue dried? The panels that I used 2 different glues on (one glue for each panel) got wrinkles.
Whatever you glued the foil onto (perhaps cardboard?) likely expands or contracts with temperature and humidity at a different rate than the foil itselfMy guess is that's what led to wrinklesBut I also think it won't affect the performance of your solar oven very much.
Q: According to Newton's law of gravity, would a piece of paper fall at the same rate to the ground as a piece of steel the same size and shape (think aluminum foil) if dropped at 100 meters? Thanks.trying to prove my dad wrong.
Hire someone to come look after her or take her to a doggie daycare.
Q: On a BMW V8 M62 from the mid 90s, is the BLACK INTAKE MANIFOLD made from Aluminum or Plastic?
Use any jackknife or Safety Stanley utility knife and srape a surfaceIf it's plastic all you'll see is black comming off If it's black painted aluminum you will see ut immediatelyI'm 99% sure it's a weight saving cheap black plastic that will eventually warp and leak because it does not have the same expansion and contraction rates as does aluminumYou're not alone many car engine manufactires are doing thisIt's probably easier to blow a perfect ideal smooth rounded cymetrical intake manifold than an as-cast aluminum one.
