Q: I have a road bike that came with 700c wheels. So can I use 650c wheel on my bike and will it fit? What are the size differnce between 700c and 650c? I know that 700c is have like 622mm diamater or something but i dont know how many mm is 650c wheels.
The pipes in older homes may be either copper or galvanized steel. Either of these are susceptible to corrosion from the inside. If you are replacing the pipe in your home take the extra effort to put in a whole house water purification system. This will drastically cut down on corrosion in the pipes and extend the life of water based appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, hot water heater, etc.).
Q: Why does the high speed clockwise rotation of the wheel look like a slow counterclockwise rotation?
The highest rate observed by the eye is 0.02 s, that is, if an object does not coincide with its final position and the final velocity within 0.02 s, the human eye does not see the object (although the film is Picture, but because each picture between the conversion speed is greater than 0.02s each, so it does not seem to Carton,
Q: What was the torture device the Catherine Wheel used for and why? And who was it named after?
The St Catherine's Wheel is also known as the Breaking Wheel. The Breaking Wheel was a device used for torture in the ancient and medieval periods. The condemned were placed on a cart-wheel with their limbs stretched out along the spokes over two sturdy wooden beams. The wheel was made to slowly revolve, and a large hammer or an iron bar was then applied to the limb over the gap between the beams, breaking the bones. This process was repeated several times per limb. St Catherine's Wheel is named after St Catherine of Alexandria, a Christian saint and martyr claimed to have been a noted scholar in the early 4th century. The Orthodox Churches venerates her as agreat martyr," and in the Roman Catholic Church, she is traditionally revered as one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. Peace!
Q: What are the requirements for the wheel?
Tires on the same axis specifications and patterns should be the same, tire specifications should be consistent with the vehicle factory factory regulations.
Q: For a two wheel drive and a four wheel drive. Is it the front wheels or the rear wheels?
Short simple answer: For the majority of -cars-, the drive wheel is always the front wheel spinning faster(for instance, the one on the outside of a turn, unless the inside wheel lifts up) This is a loaded(suspended, driven, out-of-control) question! 2 wheel drive: A misnomer. Most cars are NOT 2 wheel drive. 2 wheel drive can mean front OR rear-wheel drive. But most 2 wheel drive cars have an OPEN differential, which means only ONE of the wheels get power. If a 2 wheel drive car has a limited slip differential, then 2 wheels will get power: which ones depends on whether the car is front or rear wheel drive. The engine is never locked to giving ONE specific wheel power. It doesn't work that way. As for four-wheel drive, the options are all over the place. Sometimes they are rear-wheel drive that can send some power forward if there's enough slippage/loss of traction. And sometimes they do this, but start out front-wheel drive. Sometimes they start out with 25% to each wheel and shift the power around as necessary, as well. And pretty much any combination you can think of in that.
Q: I've heard that some rats like them and others dont, so I'm just curious what your personal experiences are with rats running on wheels.
Male or female, I have yet to have a rat that liked their wheel. The most I got one to do was sit on the outside top of the wheel when he was young, or another one when very young would go to sleep in the wheel - but none of mine have ever run in the wheel.
Q: i know rear wheel drive is a must for drifting and all that, but im just curious as to what made some car companies start making front wheel drive cars? are their advantages? or is it just cheeper for them?and which do u think is better front wheel or back wheel drive?or all wheel drive?
front wheel is better for control. 1.) the engine is over the front axel causing more weight and over all more traction and grip to the road. 2.) in winter through snow you are pulling the car from the heavy front as apposed to trying tp push the heavy front from the back. 3.) less parts are needed for a front wheel drive car.
Q: On a FWD vehicle, does only one wheel get all the power, or does one wheel get more than the other? Or do both front wheels get equal power? How exactly does it function?
2 wheel drive, both wheels are powered, on 4 wheel drive all four are. The differential allows the wheels on opposite sides of each axle to rotate at different speeds, which is necessary when going around curves, when the outside wheel(s) have a farther path of travel that the inside ones. If one side has lower friction with the ground, it is liable to speed up, which causes wheel spin on that side and the vehicle doesn't move. This has been addressed with limited slip differentials.
Q: I HAVE A 1997 SRAD WILL BUSA WHEELS FIT ON IT
absolutely not. the busa wheel requires at least a 190 size tire because it has a wider wheel. you may be able to fit a 190 on your gixxer wheel but the tire will bow a little more because of the more narrow wheel. this will create a smaller footprint on the asphalt when youre going straigt but a larger footprint when youre leaning. the busa wheel is wider so you will rub the tire on the inside of the swingarm. if you like phenomenal handling keep the stock 600 wheel but put a 190 on it. not the stock busa 190.50.17 but the 190.55.17 and your motorcycle will begin to handle more like a bicycle.
Q: I rebuilt the front end on my 1983 chevrolet 1/2 ton truck. I installed a new gear box, pitman arm, inner and outer tie rod ends on both sides, and idler arm. Since installing the new parts I have not been able to get my steering wheel aligned, The bar on the steering wheel is vertical instead of being horizontal. I have had a front end alignment but the steering wheel is still vertical. Is it possible that the steering gear box is defective What could be causing the problem? Thanks for you help.
You can take and undo the I shaft the shaft to the gear box and turn it to the correct position, make sure your tires are straight and remove it from the gear box turn it to where u want it and reconnect you steering shaft.
