In general the tire width should be about 1.5-2X the inner rim width (width between inner surfaces of the rim) . see diagram at the link. The width of the rim recommended varies with the type of use the wheel is intended for. For example racing wheels are narrower (and lighter) than general purpose, touring or tandem wheels of the same (700C) diameter. The tire size recommendations usually reflect the rim width.

- i do not fully understand the question but heres my attempted answer. you can put one 80mm wheel in the front and one in the back but any more with the hilo makes the wheels extremely unbalanced. its hard with those hilo frames. if you really want to use all 80mm then go for a tour hokcey skate, because they are the only ones who make the big wheel setup.
