- Q: Currently running 69mm 78a Nineball Slalom Wheels from Sector 9 for campus cruising. The smallest pebble will send my board flying backwards so I‘m looking for some new wheels that grip well, travel smoothly but are able to go over these pebbles with no problem. Tips? Suggestions?
- Nineballs are actually a good sized wheel. those must be huge pebbles. If you really want larger wheels, look at some Abec11 BigZigs or Sector 9 77mm Offset Race Formulas.
- Q: I need to have the wheels aligned in my 86 Bronco II. The car consistently pulls to the right. Its more annoying than dangerous. I've heard from numerous places that it would cost around $80 for a general alignment for 4 wheels, but that was for newer cars. What will the cost be for mine?
- Mine costed about 120 with taxes, I had a 1993 Nissan sentra
- Q: If i were to buy rims and wheels for a 1995 lexus sc400 (RWD) and wanted to switch the rims and wheels onto a FWD car, could i? the wheels are offset (rear ones are wider), so could i just switch the rear wheels with the front wheels when i put thm on the fwd car? BTW, i already know the wheels and rims fit both cars, just wondering about the opposite (front-back) wheel sizes. Thanks
- If you put wider wheel, thus wider tires on the rear wheels of a FWD, you are going to get more understeer than usual. If you look at people who race FWD in road courses, they put wider wheels and tires in front to reduce understeer. Understeer is not fun. The front of car will slide whenever you throw your car into a corner. And you need to reduce speed or adjust you steering to correct this. This is something that most race car drivers want to eliminate, but car manufacturer set up a little understeer for saftety reason to warn drivers that the car is at its cornering limit. So larger wheels and tires in rear of a FWD is not a very good idea.
- Q: What is the transition from the ancient to the present?
- Ancient do not inflate!
- Q: me and my friend own long boards and we just learned to power slide, but we‘re worried that it will ruin our wheels, now if u long board u know how expensive wheels are. they‘re urethane wheels if that makes a difference.
- For a longboard, never get a duro above 84a. this is going to experience like bumpy trash. 90a is plenty too problematical for a tender journey. Sector 9 Butterballs are great. From own journey, Abec11 Freerides 81a are particularly consumer-friendly to slip with.
- Q: RT, I am a novice, Luya's pole is MH, novice Well, afraid of fried powder, so want to match a spinning wheel, but with a big fear of bad cast, because the road sub-slender ah, unlike the sea pole The So please advise you. Kneel thanks!
- The spinning wheel is not suitable for playing blackfish, except for light water, really want to play, the wheels should be big enough, but the big you mh's pole, there is uncoordinated. Read people with 5000 wheels hanging on the holy pole, The same as the fish is very fast, the same are hunting black frog, throwing much better than the drum
- Q: im gettin a 2007 monte carlo ss and it has a v8 but front wheel drive so i was think i should juss get the o4 ss and juss roll with the v6 and front wheel drive
- Better traction in inclement weather.
- Q: In the history of the wheel, China has gone through several cultural revolutions
- The third time is Han Yu Liu Zongyuan as the leader of the Tang and Song dynasties as the representative of Liu Zongyuan's criticism of slavery "feudalism" system of "feudalism" as the representative of the classical movement, are the first cultural revolution to continue, are critical Confucianism moderation, cumbersome formalism and feudal resurrection of the sound of the decadent culture as the direction, are adhering to the contend for a hundred schools of thought contemplation of cultural and ideological line. In the classical movement, the feudal system was criticized (actually slavery). Liu Zongyuan's "feudalism" as the masterpiece, criticized the decadent Buddhism and Taoism culture as the masterpiece of Han Yu's "original way", which maintained "the first king to Confucius" The "righteousness and preaching" is a limitation, it is the wrong guiding line in the classical movement. The development of the prose movement also led to the prosperity of poetry in the Tang and Song dynasties.
- Q: i was skatin with my friend and his wheels were twice as wide and smaller than mine. Mine are birdhouse and they will spin for like 5 seconds max. His wheels can spin for a 1 minute easily. Are these better?
- um. am no scientest but all i know is harder wheels hold up stronger but are bumby and soft wheels are weak but less bumby also if your street use small wheels but for cruisin and freestyle get them around 56 mm i got my wheels at industrial ride shop
- Q: hi i have 8 80mm wheels and i want to put them on my new skates. but my new skates have a hi low setup with 72mm(2), 80mm(1) and 78mm(1). is there any way i could use more than just 2 of my old 80mm wheels as they are better than the ones im getting. please help?
- No, you pretty much have to stick with the set up the manufacturer gives you. While I have heard of two different sizes of wheels in a Hi/Lo set up, yours is the first one I have seen using 3 different sizes. The reason you can't successfully change the wheel sizes is that if you do, you throw off the alignment of the wheels, causing one or more of the wheels to lose contact with the floor/surface you are skating on. Just keep those wheels, and you will eventually be able to use them when the others wear down. Good luck. Steve.
