Q: I think iam getting a skateboard from blankdecks but i dont know what wheels to get size? hardness? I am basically going to ride on the streets and do basic tricks
Since wheels are a very personal preference, I'm goimngh to give you some generalities, not tell you to get a specific wheel. I would recommend a wheel from Spitfire, Bullet, Pig or Santa Cruz. You probably want a little softer wheel, like a 95 or 97a. These will give you a better ride on the rough streets, and the softer wheels won;t get hung up as easily as harder wheels. You are sacrificing a little but of speed, but the increased comfort will make the ride more enjoyable and less tiring. As for size, a bigger wheel has its advantages over small wheels. They will go over cracks and debris better and make the ride less jittery. I'd go with a 56mm wheel. The downside is it will be a little harder to do some flip tricks, but you should be able to learn it. This setup is a good all purpose setup that you can take to the skatepark or the ditch as well.
Q: i recently bought a peugeot metal-x moped and found the front wheel to be a bit loose i was wondering if anybody could give me a rough guide as to how to tighten it. the wheel slightly turns bout an inch or so away from the handle bars i don think its a big job i just need to no wat i need to tighten it thanx
there must be 3 bolts that could want tightened, 2 that carry the column as much as the sprint, you will could desire to take the plastic piece under the guidance column off after which you will see the two bolts retaining the column to the sprint and the different bolt is obvious on the backside of the guidance column suitable on the firewall on the interior the vehicle, that is referred to as a pinch bolt and it holds the guidance onto the guidance rack it is on the exterior of the firewall, make optimistic that bolt is tight.
Q: I want to get soft wheels that are able to excelerate fast, grip the ground pretty good, and are good for cruising. I skate with hard wheels size 51mm. What brand should I buy and how much millimeters should it be.
Would you put rims on a Kia or a turbo on a Neon? If your answer is yes, then I can't help you. Waste money and ruin the bike however you see fit.
Q: Mousetrap cars can have 3 or 4 wheels, which one is better? Some have large wheels in the back and small wheels in the front, while some have large wheels in the front and small wheels in the back, does this change anything?I‘m making a mousetrap car with distance in mind, not speed.
Yes. Cars can be struck by lightning. No. The tires do not protect them. Think about this for a moment, a giant electric spark just jumped through a VERY LARGE distant. What is going to keep it from also jumping the twelve inches or so of air gap from the car to the ground? Besides which the carbon black used in the tires to make them black (you did know that both natural and synthetic rubber are black because of the additives, right?) is very conductive at the voltages involved so they don't do that good a job of insulating the car in the first place. That said the metal of the car might protect you from the lightning by shunting the electricity around you. I say might because the metal is discontinuous and is not a perfect Faraday cage.
Q: Can the guns in the gangster hit the wheels at high speed?
n short, when the bullet hit the tires, the speed in a short time soared, according to the momentum theorem, the bullet to reduce the momentum equal to it to the tire surface caused by the impulse (the role of each other, the tire in the block at the same time, Bullets are also wore tires), due to the role of time is very short, so the tire in a short time will be under great pressure, in general, will certainly exceed the tire's range, after all, is a nail on the road may be punctured thing.
Q: Production of running wheels where the manufacturers are good.
You can go to look at Shanxi Yong Xin forging the manufacturers, this is a professional production of walking wheel manufacturers.
Q: Can I reduce the braking time by wheel reversal to shorten the braking distance?
Meaningless, or negative
Q: So i have a 1991 honda accord LX. My car is perfectly aligned. but oddly my steering wheel is turened about 45 degrees to the left as drives straight and have no probles driving it what-so-ever. It has been in an accident before (only 1). Was hit on front passenger side, which left the wheel dented inward at the top. I was told i need to replace a few parts, and got a new hub bearing, steering knuckle, lower and upper control arm, and afterwards my tire was straight like it was before the only difference was the steering wheel. Could it be the whole steering gear that needs to be replaced? or the rack? what could the problem be?
not perfectly aligned alignment job wasnt done right if steering wheel turn while driving it poor work done
Q: HYPER Inline Skate Wheels AGENT ORANGE 90mm Racing or Hyper Inline Skate Wheels GREEN MACHINE 90mm Racing?
They are both wheels for indoor skating only. They are essentially the same wheel, with one optimized for grip on slicker surfaces, the other for speed on better-coated surfaces. Agent Orange wheels are approx. 89A on the shore durometer scale, and are made for floors with less-than perfect, or old coating. Green Machine wheels are approx. 91A and are made for coated floors in good condition. NOTE; Hyper has since superseded these indoor wheels with the Hyper Havoc, Intensity and Kaos X and Kaos XX wheels (in ascending hardness).
Q: When I back my 4WD subaru into my icy drive way from a full stop, one wheel loses traction on this sheet of ice while all my other wheels are still on solid ground but none of them move. Why is this? Doesn‘t this defeat the purpose of 4 wheel drive?
It's an issue with the traction control. When one wheel spins the computer backs off the power and gently applies the brake to that wheel, stopping it spinning and transferring power to the other wheels. But then the next wheel starts to spin as well, so it brakes that one. Repeat until it's braked all the wheels, as none of them have traction. Now it has run out of options, so it just sits there. You can turn off traction control, but then you are back to the wheel with the least traction simply spinning again. More sophisticated 4WD systems have locking or limited slip differentials, or computer controlled clutches in the diffs, that do a better job at applying power to all the wheels, but that's actually of limited use as having 4 wheels spinning on ice is still zero traction, and will probably just cause you to slide sideways into a ditch anyway. The system your car has isn't useless, it's just the conditions are beyond it's capacity. If you had some traction on the other wheels it would be able to move you. It's just when you have 4 wheels slipping, it's stuck, and doesn't sit there spinning pointlessly. When conditions are that bad, you need tire chains to give the tires a bit of traction.
