- It can be driven with 4 wheel studs but I would suggested very short distances. The stud Replacement shouldn't be that bad and it is a press fit so you may be able to do some of the work yourself if you know someone with a press. If you don't, the cost shouldn't be that bad. I do like your thinking about what to look at while having your wheel apart. The only major things you might consider is brakes or wheel bearings. breaks have to be done a s a set, and while wheel bearings don't, I high recommend they be done as a set.

- If you are driving on pavement you really don't need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. 2 wheel drive is just that. The front 2 wheels provide the power to move the vehicle. Back 2 wheels on some cars and most pick ups. A 4 wheel drive engages all 4 wheels to power the car or truck. It takes more power to do this so it has bad gas mileage. The advantage is it's harder to get stuck in the mud or snow with 4 wheels pushing your vehicle. One problem is even if a wheel loses traction it will keep spinning. Possibly causing you to become stuck deep in the mud. All wheel drive solves this problem by diverting power from a wheel that is spinning to the ones that still have traction. all wheel drive is better than 4 wheel drive but is still not vary fuel efficient.

- the one wheel is for carrying dirt, rubble, topsoil, etc. and the one wheel helps the barrow flip easier to dump its contents. I've never seen a two wheeler but I would presume it's more for moving things like plants that won't need flipping and being poured out. I suspect if you are moving plants and tools that could be done in a small wagon (4 wheels). I would think a man though would be more able to use the one wheeled barrow. I would think though if your husband truly needed something he would want to pick it out himself although this item purchase is not a big deal.
