Q:When the tv repair company comes out do they take your tv power cable or have there own one for tv
All TV repair people have all the power cables they could need. BUT... if they think that your fault could simply be a fault in your cable, then they may take it with them, though they would be more likely to try swapping it on your premises before removing the set.
Q:Hello,I recently bought a kotatsu and I really need some help. The power cable is of course Japanese... And I need some type of converter. On the part of the cable that plugs into the radiotaor it says:PSE (It's in some square box)JET MR7A 250VOn the end that plugs into the wall it says:PSE (It's in some square box)JET MR7A 125VI''m not sure if a simple small converter to let me put the Japanese cable into my wall is enough, I think I need something extra to make sure nothing goes into flames.Inside the Japanese instruction manual I found some info ... However, I'm not really sure if it is related to the power supply or not...AC100V 50-60Hz400W3.1 (Probably the length of the cable) 1.3 (Same here I think)140Wh 60 Wh55C 37CPlease help me, what should I get to be able to use the cable in Europe. Any links at all will be helpful...Thanks.
Don't worry too much about what the cord says. Worry about the power requirements on the appliance label, and making sure you are feeding it with the voltage required, with a capacity within the range. In your instance, you will need a converter transformer that converts your outlet voltage to 100V, and has 550 or larger watt capacity.
Q:I don't want to run it under the car, but I can't find a place to run it through the firewall... Do I need to drill a hole?
Look under the storage compartment on the passengers side. look under the dashboard on the drivers side, locate holes then look on the inside of the cars side skirts you should be able to remove the skirting and lay cable under there.
Q:i have a dell inspiron 9100. for some odd reason, it won't recognize its power cable. I have tried all outlets in my room that I can plug it into.
did you try to remove the battery
Q:just asking if its atleast 5 feet.
The included cables are the standard 6' in length. There's nothing special about the PS3's power cord, so you can buy a longer one if you need it. The PS3 can also use standard HDMI and optical audio cables, so finding those in various lengths is easy. However if you need a longer PS3 AV cable (for composite, svideo or component video) you'll have to buy one online. They exist, or you can use a simple cable extension.
Q:I have a white Xbox 360 system (elite maybe). I have it hooked up to a 26HD TV in my room. When I have friends over to play, we like to move the xbox downstairs to a 52TV so we can play split screen mode without squinting! The unplugging of cables creates such a hassle, and I was wondering if it was possible to use another AC power cable and more video cables downstairs so I only have to move the console itself. Can someone tell me if this will work if I purchase another set of cables on OKorder and or give any specifications about what need/should buy? Please help, and thanks!
ya it will work. if your gonna buy another power brick buy it on OKorder for cheap or itll cost you about 100 bucks
Q:I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF, I need a replacement power cable, on the manual it says for power: 240W, 1259 Btu/hr, 100 Vac to 240 vac, 50hz to 60 hz 3.6A. I contacted Dell and they said they have a power cable for it, the Dell 5120P cable which is 125 V 10A. Now my concern is with the 10A vs the 3.6A listed on the manual, should I be concerned?
Thanks David for your expertise!
Q:I am missing pin 20 for my ATX motherboard power connector (which is normal). But I am also missing pinouts and a few wires from other connectors like PCI-e, Peripheral connectors, and even SATA connectors. But here is the thing, all the missing pinouts go INTO the POWER SUPPLY? So are all these intentional, or is it a flaw? Thanks!
It is very common for some pins in a standard connector to be unused on certain devices, especially power connections, because there are always redundant pins to the same power connection.
Q:I just purchased and mounted my 52lcd and I cut holes to run the HDMI cables behind the wall. As I was snaking the power cable, I realized this might not be the best way. Is there anything I need to do (I only have basic 'contracting' skills) to keep my install fire code safe?
The hole should be sealed for a fire stop. That little hole should not amount to anything. If you seal the hole and have a problem with the tv set you are really going to have problems removing the set for service.
Q:do i fit the 2 other power connectors to the psu wire or just the one connectorThanksCard is an hd3870
