- Hi Hadad, I have a galaxy s3 and an iphone 4s. I actually got a 6000mAh battery charger first but I found out that it can only charge my phone about twice. So I get another one which is RavPower 10400mAh. Cannot tell how much I love it. It comes in portable and does look like a neat one. It has 2 outputs so I can charge 2 of my devices at the same time. I would strongly recommend this one to you. You can get it from amazon store.

- Don't. The batteries for laptops are designed for the job and are carefully matched to the circuitry in the laptop. You stand a good chance of breaking the charging circuitry, or having your homemade battery go up in flames.
- Q:I have some things in my circuit that need about 11v and others that need about 7v. Could I make a 12v battery pack and then just tap in at the 7.2v and 12v point. For instance with 10 batteries in series at 1.2v that would be 12v from the first to the last but if i also have a wire coming out from the 7.2v point after 6 cells. These would be rechargable nimh cells so if i did this would they become off balance and not charge right ? Like would the first 6 discharge more than the second six and then when I want to charge all 10 it would mess up those six ?
- You answered your own question. Yes the bottom cells could completely discharge (and possibly reverse charge) which is disastrous for the battery pack.

- You have to use xbox battery packs not real batteries. You can buy other xbox battery packs to use and charge. Or you can use the original pack that the controler came with to use regular AAs but they will not recharge while in the controler.

- You need a 12 v pack with enough current to operate them both for some period of time. So you need to know how much current they use in a given hour. They should spec their power usage in watts. So you divide that by 12. That will give you their current draw for one hour. Then, if you want them to operate, say for 8 hours, you need a battery pack with an output of a little more than their total current drain over that time. Say they draw 1 watt each, so that is 16 watts over 8 hours. 16 w/12 v is 1.33 amp/hours. So, in this case, you would want a battery pack capable of at least 1.5 amp/hours. The 8 volt unit is much the same. You need to know it's current drain per hour and then you need a 9 v battery with a high enough amp/hour output to run it for how long it will be on. A simple small 9 v battery won't have enough power to even turn it on, much less, run it for any time at all. You would be better off to use the 12 v supply (if big enough) to run all 3 and just use a current limiting resistor in the 8 v line.

- go to walmart or kmart and buy an rc car battery charger. this type of battery requires a slow charge, that is about 12 hours. there are other, special type batteries, that can be fully recharged in 10 minutes. DO NOT TRY THAT WITH THIS RC BATTERY. just make sure that the charger is for the 9.6v pack.
- Q:I have an electric scooter with a brand new 24 volt battery pack. When I charge the battery the voltage gets as high as 28 volts or more. I bought a brand new charger that has a 1.8 amp output rating. The charger light stays red while charging and should shut off when it turns green. So far I have not let the charger charge until the green light comes on. I am concerned that I am overcharging the battery. Right now my multimeter reads 28.48 volts. Is this normal?
