- Q: I don't understand why if there's this big worry with electric cars about range anxiety, is why they all don't just use the 85kwh batteries used on tesla cars to achieve around 300 miles of range. It would give EV's the kick start they need. If one were to pay big bucks could they have those types of batteries installed into say a leaf or a rav4 ev to get better range? Thanks!
- Batteries are still very expensive, but I'm sure a small car could be designed that would give long range without the power of the Tesla. The issue is the even rather mundane cars like the Leaf are still very expensive for what they do, and increasing cost to give longer range isn't likely to sell any better. Just a comment about wireless transmission - people freak out when it is suggested that new power lines be run near their houses. I seriously doubt people could be convinced to drive near electric fields that were quadrillions of times greater than what you get from power lines. DK

- A 12v bulb will need a 7.2 1400 mah battery to go for 3 hours, if your trying to jury rig this you should go with a rechargeable Drill battery of at least 16v level that way you have plenty of reserve juice
- Q: I just got my xbox 360 2 weeks ago and i cant use it without plugging it in (it has chargable battery pack) i charge it for LONG periods of time but when i unplug it and play the most it lasts is 2 minutes
- Make sure that when you plug it, the little light turns RED. If it turns green too fast, it means it is NOT charging!! Try plugging and unplugging it. I actually saw a video where a guy said that if this happens it might mean your controller is completely drained, even so much as to charge itself, so what you should do is plug it, wait for the light to turn red, then when it turns green unplug it and plug it again, and then continue this process for several instances until it is able to charge itself! Hope this helps!!

- I say Battery Pack, the rechargeable batteries, though convenient, cause a hassle. And its a lot easier to stick your remote on the charger, rather than having to mess with batteries, and the battery pack lasts longer, the rechargeable, tend to lose strength after a while.

- Q: I want to put 4 AA NiCad or NimH batteries in a holder (Radio Shack 270-383) and connect two set of positive and negative leads. One to a DC Power Jack (Radio Shack 274-1565) for when the battery pack needs to be recharged and the other to a DC Power Plug (Radio Shack 274-1567) for when I want to use their power.
