9.How to choose suitable inverter?
If your load is resistive loads, such as: bulbs, you can choose a modified wave inverter. But if it is inductive loads and capacities loads,we recommend using pure sine wave power inverter.
10.How do I choose the size of the inverter?
Different types of load demand for power are different. You can view the load power values to determine the size of the power inverter.
- Q: I have a toshiba portable dvd player, it has a built-in rechargable battery, but I was wondering if it was possible to use the 10v input as a port for a battery.
- You would need a higher voltage battery, maybe 15 v, then a regulator to bring it down to 10v for stability. Also it will need to be able to supply enough current to run the machine.
- Q: I read this on the TSA website, do I have to follow this with my loose rechargeable AA batteries? Do I need to separate the batteries? How should I pack them?Place each battery in its own protective case, plastic bag, or package, or place tape across the battery's contacts to isolate terminals. Isolating terminals prevents short-circuiting.
- If you have the original 4 pack, 6 pack, 8 pack in which the batteries came packaged, then put the batteries into that, and tape it closed. If not, then just wrap a piece of tape around the group of batteries to hold them together, then put a piece of tape across one end of that entire group. Does not matter which end. If you have lots of batteries, then you may want to make two or more groups. The point is to prevent any possibility of a short circuit and either a spark, or a battery becoming very hot through a very fast power drain. If you tape over all of the positive terminals, for instance, that cannot happen. Once you do that, you can pack them in either carry on or checked bags.
- Q: I have an electric scooter with a brand new 24 volt battery pack. When I charge the battery the voltage gets as high as 28 volts or more. I bought a brand new charger that has a 1.8 amp output rating. The charger light stays red while charging and should shut off when it turns green. So far I have not let the charger charge until the green light comes on. I am concerned that I am overcharging the battery. Right now my multimeter reads 28.48 volts. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.
- 28 1/2 volts doesn't worry me; many sealed lead acid batteries charge to more than 2.3 volts per cell. At 29 volts I'd get concerned and at 30 volts I'd call it quits. However, the real issue is whether the batteries are getting hot. If they are just slightly warm they are still converting the energy to chemistry, but if they develop a fever (call it above 110 F) they are just turning the charge into heat they are fully charged.
- Q: i have had a rechargable battery pack for my xbox 360 wireless controller for a few months and its the kind where u take the back of and but it on a charger and when its charging it turns red, and when its dsone it truns green, lately it become dead and i put it on and it does green insteadof red, it did tht for a few months but still charged it, now it barely charges it. what is wrong and wat do i do?
- You should buy new rechargeable battery cause they dont last for ever. They have a limited number of charging times depending on theyr quality.
- Q: i bought my canon powershot sd1300 IS a week ago, and now it is saying that i need to change the battery pack? i'm confused. should i have more than one battery? and when i tried to charge it it wouldn't do anything. i'm confused.
- Your camera shipped with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. It needs to be recharged with the battery charger that also came with your camera. It will take at least a couple of hours to fully recharge.
- Q: i can use regular battery packs in my controller just not rechargeable battery packs
- Are you sure your battery packs are charged? if you just opened them they might need a charge?
- Q: I have a 8.2v battery pack (supposed to be 7.2v but its always around 8.5 when charged) that runs a circuit. The circuit has motors in it that turn on and off. I have a wireless cmos camera that taps into the same battery pack, the camera needs 8v. The unit works fine until the motors turn on then the camera shuts off for the duration of the motors being on. I had a similar problem before but it was downstream in the circuit after a voltage regulator, I stuck a large capacitor after the voltage regulator and it solved this problem. I tried putting a capacitor on the camera and it didnt seem to help much. Do I need a voltage regulator and a larger battery pack to do this or is there another way ? I'm thinking its not so much the current that is the problem but the reduction in voltage coming from the battery under heavy load, but I might be wrong. thanks !
- Try a coil to oppose voltage drop in the circuit.
- Q: CameraSony a390. Out of the box. Should I start taking pictures immediately using its battery pack, or it should be charged first, and how long?
- Sony A390 Battery
- Q: A circuit requires 5V and 12V voltage to work, how to design the circuit?
- To 12V and 5V dual voltage. Will supply the battery voltage of not less than 12V.
