- Q: Alcatel OT-800 mobile phone - good phone? any disadvantages??thanks x
- It's a good phone, I have it myself. You can put episodes of your favorite tv show on it, and watch it. You can put Twitter on it. It has a Opera Browser (free Internet) its really good for texting good quality pictures Instant messaging I would definitly recemend this phone!
- Q: I would love to sign up for Boost Mobile's Daily Chat and Text plan, but this question just dawned on me. Do I have to have a new Boost Mobile phone to have their service?I don't care about the walkie-talkie or web surfing, just want to get phone calls and texts. Their prices are right, but don't want to buy a new phone. Thank you for anyone that reads this!
- Boost mobile iden/walkie talkie runs on the Nextel iden nationwide network. Their sims can work on any Boost mobile walkie talkie or Nextel phone. Their sims will not work in any other type of phone like Att or Tmobile types. You are pretty much stuck with their lineup. Unless you use Boost cdma. There are TWO Boost mobiles. The Boost cdma is a Boost without walkie talkie or sim on the Sprint network. Sprint owns both Boost mobiles. The good thing about the cdma network is that it is generally faster and more reliable then Boost iden and you can use any Sprint phone after you first activate with a Boost cdma phone then transfer the account to the Sprint phone (You CAN'T open a Boost cdma account with a Sprint phone at the beginning.). Boost cdma recently dropped their prices so that they too have a nationwide $50 unlimited everything plan now. You can buy an older Boost cdma phone, a hot Sprint phone, call 1-877-TLK-MORE , ask for Unlimited by Boost (cdma) ,pay $15 to activate, either port your old number or get a number from the closest area to your area code (they only have phone numbers for thirteen states ). They might say they don't have your state or they need an out of state address. Just give them a Cali or Texas address that you find and port your local number. Boost cdma has better customer service, faster web , faster and more reliable texts and no where near as much dropped phone calls as Boost iden does. Whatever you choose, good luck.
- Q: I recently bought a mobile from a friend. All is in good working condition, however when I try to put my sim in it where it is supposed to say 'o2' it says 'inactive sim' ?? But my sim works in my old phone? Is it the new phone?Any ideas on what i can do ?
- The phone might be locked onto a certain network, so it wont accept sim cards that are on a different network. Ask the person you've brought the mobile from what network it was on, If you cant get in touch with the person you brought it from take it to your local market and try and see if there's a mobile phone stall to unlock it for you. Then you shud be able to put any sim card in the phone.
- Q: can u guyz gimme some hINt about mobile PHONES?? i can pay alot of money but please gimme some hint!!
- HTC Storm 2. check it out on youtube.
- Q: I just got a Boost Mobile phone. Just wanted to know.
- Best is a subjective measurement. For me, my Trac Phone is the best because it does exactly what I want and nothing more. No cameras, no MP3 players, no internet, no nonsense. The battery lasts about 7-10 days between charges. I have never been anywhere (and I travel all up and down the west coast and up into the mountians) where it would not get signal but other phones would -- just the opposite in fact, mine is usually the only one that WILL get signal out of the major metro areas. The phone itself costs about $18 and if I loose it or break it, there is no charge to transfer my minutes to a new one (just $18 for a new phone, less than most others). The minutes are a lot more expensive though, unless you buy the service contract sort of thing. But I like being able to just quit using the thing if I don't need it and no further expenses.
- Q: can I use Skype to call mobile phone?
- yes you can, next to contact where it says call phones. dial the phone number and it will call. it wont work if you are using the free version.
- Q: can anyone tell me websites for cellular / mobile phone companies in Taipei. I will be travelling to taipei next week will need a pre-paid GSM mobile phone connection
- 7-11 shops sell cards for it. cell phone shops are everywhere in Taibei.
- Q: i just broke my phone and its a t mobile. i need a new phone, but just the phone, no plan or anything. can anyone help out?
- you could get the sidekick lx or the sidekick slide. Those are the best phones from tmobile
- Q: Hey. I'm order a new phone yesterday (the switch back from virgin mobile) and I was wondering if it really is worth 80 dollars. But for anyone who has it is it good?
- well actually it is worth it because 80 for a qwerty phone its pretty cheap! all the other qwerty phones are very expensive specially if you buy it full invoice price! which is good about this cell is that is cheap and it does a lot of thingsyou made a good decision. the bad is that the camara is not as great.and the front display isn't great eitherbut you made a good decision.dont worry if you have any question just email mei have a sidekick slide by the way but am about to get this phone too because its cheap liike bulky phones and the messaging packed from virgin mobile its awesome! peace!!!!
- Q: Anyone has or has had a virgin mobile phone--- what are the pros and cons. I know they're good 'cause there is no contract but money wise would you spend more on one of these then on a cell phone with a contract?
- coo but i never had one of them
