- unfortunately, a data cable will not work with this phone, in fact any of the Virgin Mobile phones cannot be configured for data cables (Virgin Mobile disables the capability) In order to get data from your computer to your phone, you must purchase a MicroSD card to put into the phone, it will work almost like a data cable. Hope this helps :-)

- That's just a telephone cable. Believe it or not, phones used to be tethered to the wall with a cable. There was no such things as cell phones.

- the data cable is crap and so is the software. If you have a micro sd memory card then all you need is a card reader for your computer and the memory card adapter. Put the micro sd card in your phone and format it. Then stick it in the micro sd adapter, then put that in the memory reader which goes in your computer. It will be read as a removable drive. Open it and drag all your mp3's into the music folder.

- Only way to xfer information is via a xfer cable. Sorry bud. Edit: the unknown profile is likely save game data that doesn't have the corresponding gamertag profile active on the memory unit. If your gamertag profile is active on memory unit, then don't worry about the save game data is it is likely not yours(if you have people play on your xbox before that created a new profile)
