- Q: I recently bought a new Xbox 360 (250 Gig), how can i transfer my saves from my old xbox to the new one without a transfer cable or memory card (the new one doesn't have those memory card slots anyway).Additional DetailsI tried using a usb but.There's one problem that occurred, when i plug in the usb to the new xbox 360 the game saves i put on the usb say unknown profile. - Only way to xfer information is via a xfer cable. Sorry bud. Edit: the unknown profile is likely save game data that doesn't have the corresponding gamertag profile active on the memory unit. If your gamertag profile is active on memory unit, then don't worry about the save game data is it is likely not yours(if you have people play on your xbox before that created a new profile)

- Well, I know that when I transferred all my information from my old 20gb hard drive to my new 120gb one it deleted everything from the old drive when it was moved to the new one. But for some reason to me it just sounds like you moved just the account info from drive to drive, which would only do just that. If that is the case, just recover the account back onto your old hard drive and that should do the trick, that is unless you moved everything onto the new drive.
