FAQ

I have a septum piercing and I want to make my own eccentric jewelry for itMy local Joe-Anne's has aluminum jewelry wire in my gaugeIs this a bad material for a young piercing (6 weeks old) and will it cause irritation?
Talk to your piercer on this oneMost people don't have much trouble with aluminum, but piercings can be sensitiveIt'll also depend on you-some people can wear anything, others can only wear the most nonallergenic metalsPersonally, I wouldn't use aluminum (at least for the bit that actually goes through the hole) because it's so softI'd constantly be worrying about it getting bent out of shape.
Why does aluminum foil catch on fire when microwaved?
Aluminum foil doesn't actually burn in the microwaveWhat you are seeing is called the electro-magnetic effectMicrowaves travel as particles called photons, and when those photons hit your aluminum, they collide with the aluminum atoms and create extra electronsNow, in larger pieces of metal, like a fork or a thermos, these electrons are distributed throughout the bulk of the object, but on thin pieces of conductive metals, like aluminum foil or gold plating, these electrons quickly build up a significant electric charge.
like the title says im looking to get a decent used road bike in my price rangethe only two things I know i would like are 1)a pretty good aluminum frame that way i can slowly upgrade the components on it2) I want the shifters on the handlebars not on the top tubealright so thats pretty much it im just lookin for some suggestions, thanx.
For starters, remember that a whole bike in the second hand market is probably the most cost-effective way to buy a bikeFor example, I was going to buy a DJ bike for 350 bucks US with good DJ components, but not very good for my uses (Urban)The cost to buy a frame only and build up a bike with the components I wanted was around 850 USInstead, I opted for a totally different bike and paid $1500 for a $4500 dollar bike that was about a year oldYour 250-300 dollars could go a long way, but probably will go the farthest if you put it into a complete bikeLook everywhere and be patientSomething will come alongCheck your local bike shops and classifiedsDon't forget Ebay tooAnd while you are waiting, save your penniesLike the other guy said, putting an extra hundred bucks into the pot will probably get you a MUCH nicer bikeThere's a very dynamic segment of the used bike market between 300 and 800 bucksYou might be surprised If you don't have the income, try to put your time and energy into working on your buy.
Is parchment paper and wax paper exchangeable in use?
nan
something that is reliable and not to much over $200, and where is the best place to buy one?
With no more info on the rest of the engine I have, here is my 2 cents worthThe 214/214 and 214/224 number are intake/exhaust, If you have a factory/restrictive exhaust the second cam would be better because it will keep the exhaust valve open longer to help get rid of the spent gasesIf you have a good intake and exhaust system the first cam would be better choice There are 100's of variables that would dictate the best cam for you application read as much as you can and use the cam manufacturers web sites and free tech lines NUMBER 1 RULEDon't get carried away with bigger has to be better
i want to make chocolate covered gummy bears but where would i put it after i dipped it in the chocolate if i don't have any wax paper
plastic wrap, aluminum foil, cookie sheet, whatever! The wax paper is just to make it easierOnce the chocolate get's hard enough, it will come off whatever you put it on.
I need to know materials I need( Example ) clay, thermometer
clay would work, something like plastacine or play doh, pastry would also work wellYou'll need about 3 equal size peices of whatever material you choose to useOne you can leave in the open as a control substance Three that you could wrap in different thingsLike, brown paper, cling film and tin foilRemember to leave them all in the same place for the same length of timesomaterial to cool, three sheets of different material, a thermometer (maybe one to take air temp too) and a table of some sort to record your results at several different times.
what at home items can you curl hair with?? and which ones will be good for spiral curls? i was reading that you can curl hair with aluminum foil, how do you do that? and also which ones will be good for under an hour and can u also give me ideas for overnight too?
Maybe $200, if nothing is wornDowntube shifters mean the bike is at least 15 years oldWhile still a good bike, depreciation kicks in the second the bike rolls out of the storeAfter STI/Ergo became the norm the price of down tube shifter bikes dropped dramaticallyUpdating a down tube shifter bike with STI/Ergo is not cost effective.
