Q: What material are the Samson & Goliath cranes in Belfast made from?
They are cranes look at the YouTube video and read up on cranes that's what material they are made of.
Q: Hello,I live in the St. Louis area of Missouri and during the summer, Crane Flies (I call them Mosquito Eaters) fly around all the time at night. I believe that it is normal for this type of bug to be nocturnal, but lately, I've seen them flying around, jumping around, and getting in the house DURING THE DAYTIME!! (AHH!!) :0 Is there any explanation for this? If so, is there anyway to reduce their population in and around my house? Thanks for reading.Ty
Crane Fly larva are rat-tailed maggots that prefer stagnant, even polluted water. Check around your neighborhood to see if you have any stagnant pools (I've seen them in water-filled tree hollows, but this sounds like a more significant source) or polluted, but low-flowing, streams. If you find any, this might be a good opportunity to do a little environmental restoration.
Q: please help me solve.. i really don't get itttt
1 horse power = 746 watt. So the work W done by the crane in 15 s is given by W = 8*746*15 J . So the distance, S through which the crane lifted 100 kg, presumably at constant speed is given by 100*9.81*S = 8*746*15 or S = [(8*746*15)/(100*9.81)] = 91.25 m
Q: Are tower cranes the same as tower cranes?
Tomato, you tomato, potatoes, you potatoTalent exchange of tower crane and tower crane
Q: The mansion I'm talking about is made in the American colonial architectural style, it is made from red bricks and has a colossal white, Doric octastyle portico. There are many windows and French doors at the front and it is situated at the top of a neatly manicured hill.
the okorder /... i hope you find the name after all .
Q: My boyfriend's a little sick right now, and he's going to have a surgery over summer. I'm in the process of folding him 1000 cranes (like the Japanese legend), and in every crane I wrote a message. I have a list of all the messages so far. I'm not sure how to give it to him, though. 1000 cranes is a lot of cranes... and I don't want to make him carry a big heavy box or anything. I also want him to be able to read the messages... something I didn't think of much when I decided to write them on the paper I folded the cranes with...Anyway, I was thinking about a scrapbook or something. But that would be a really big scrapbook. And I'd have to probably write out all 1000 messages again in it... Plus, I'm not sure if I can find a scrapbook with enough pages.Any ideas?
A clear Glass vase would be cool, the colors of the cranes would make it decorative, and he could reach in to read one whenever he needs a pick me up. It is especially a good idea for the hospital, since they sometimes frown on flowers for allergy reasons. I also love the idea of a mobile, but that would be huge and time consuming, also the messages would be hard to read. But perhaps you could take 20 and turn those into a mobile, tie them to a stick with sewing thread, and plant the stick in the jar or vase you use to display the others.
Q: What do you think of this?A teenage boy giving a girl 1000 paper cranes to show his love for her, despite the fact that she previously said she just wanted to be friends. They are 14. He just wants to prove it to her that he is unlike any other boy.
dats so sweet .. really
Q: The fight sequence on the construction crane between 007 and villain Molakka was mezmorizing. But would the laws of gravity allow for it to happen in real life? I mean, acrobats perform similar stunts, but could the average super spy and villain?
of course its not realistic but it looked great, i just dnt know how they can jump from tht high and land on the other cranes and buildings. james bond was a bit clumsy in tht scene, i reckon tht other black fella was way beta at park-coring
Q: Is the crane a metaphor for the woman? Or does it transform into one? OR does the guy marry a bird? I've been listening to this all week and cannot discern which is right...maybe that was Colin's intention? A little help here?
It's a story about a peasant living in, I assume, rural Japan, it being a Japanese folk tale. He finds a wounded crane on the road as he's walking one night. It has an arrow in its wing, and he pulls out the arrow and revives the crane. A couple of days later this mysterious woman shows up at his door and he brings her in. Eventually, they fall in love and are married. Although they're poor-- she's a seamstress, a weaver-- she suggests that she can make this cloth that he could sell and make money. But the one condition is that when she's weaving he can't look into the room at her weaving. This goes on for awhile, until eventually the peasant's curiosity gets the best of him and he looks in. It turns out that the woman is a crane, and she's pulling feathers from her wings and putting them into the cloth, which is what makes it so beautiful and soft. Apparently, having looked in at her breaks the spell and she turns permanently back into a crane and flies away.
