Q: I am looking for an old Dutch Apple Pie recipe that was in an edition of Better Homes and Gardens in the early 90's. I had the page from the magazine, but now I cannot find it, and I need it for Thanksgiving.
Go okorder type in Dutch Apple Pie, I bet you will find it.
Q: what can i put in a garden to keep rabbits away. Heard of fox urine. does it really work? where do you get it how much does it cost how long does it last. Is there anything better? Is the produce safe to eat after you use that?
I second the motion sprinkler, funny to watch them get near it in the evenings, I've seen some gravity defying leaps. Went with this one: amzn.to/Sx8uiY works well.

Q: HeyI have very nice home decor products(pottery, vases, fountains etc.) importing directly from Thailand.Basically my friend owns a little factory.I'd like to know more about home and garden shows in California(or Nevada),just to have a better opportunity to spread my products across the country.Everything's very beautiful and unique(handmade).I'd really appreciate any suggestions.Thank you.
I don't know about California or Nevada, but here in Washington, you have to buy a space at a HG show. Depending on the size of the show, this cost can get fairly expensive. You want to go to one that is sizable enough to get good exposure, but not so large as to bankrupt you before you even get started. Also, HG shows tend to run about 6 months off, meaning they have things in the fall for the peak season in the spring and summer. You could try gift shows too. If it is a retail show (open to the public) make sure to give yourself a couple of months head start. The shows probably have a cut off date for new vendors, sometimes up to 6 months. The Christmas season will be here very soon, so if you were planning on doing a Holiday show, you may already be too late, but check anyway. If you are, try for spring shows. Once you get into one, make sure you have plenty of business cards or brochures to hand out. A website would be beneficial to both you and the customer. You could show more product in different settings and they have the chance to think about it and have another look. Good luck!
Q: My friend and I (both female) are moving into my parent's basement and we want to make it look nice. Decorations we are interested in are like more urban style.... pastel colors and cool designs would be nice. Also, we do have a budget to stay in, so a less expensive website would probably be best. Thank you:)
You okorder and also Better Homes Gardens. Just realize that the items shown on Better Homes Gardens are going to be more expensive because they are catering more toward people with more money to spend. IKEA is also a good source for ideas, especially for creative storage solutions for smaller spaces. They also have a good selection of inexpensive area rugs and smaller decor pieces too. Target has some really cool bedding options as well as inexpensive artwork (photo, photo-real canvasses, posters, etc.). And remember that just because you get ideas from a page or source doesn't mean that you have to purchase from the store behind it. Dollar type stores (Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General), Wal-mart, K-mart and even Big Lots now carry a lot of things for the home. With Big Lots, you have the added bonus of being able to get home goods, pots pans and kitchen goods, cleaning supplies and basic grocery staples all in one place.
Q: home improvement
Your answer is mortar joints, but how did this find it's way to the Botany section? It should have been posted in Home Garden.
Q: also thinking about painting the shed cream or white too?
No ! That Wont Look Right If Your Gonna Paint Anythink Paint The Fence White! Nothing Else x
