- Q: Can u burn tiles?
- Ceramic tiles? Not in the least. Vinyl tiles will melt at a lower temperature but will burn some at higher temps.. Ceiling tiles are all different, they are flame retardant some but again will burn at high temps. GL

- Try to paint wax ps: landlord do want to wax on the tiles ah, tile tiles are generally ordinary tiles in the factory before the tiles look good to play ah, but after playing is not very good cleaning.
- Q: The tiles were installed about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and we decided that we just cant live with the really wide grout lines that ended up gradually becoming huge. So we‘ll have to remove about half of the tile. Is it possible to remove and reuse these tiles? If so, what about the left-over thin set? Will it be stuck on the tiles? And what about the cement board under them? Is it reusable or easier to just replace? Thanks for any answers!
- if it was me i would remove them, you need to have a flat surface, and it in best to dura rock screwed down before the tile if it's on wood. the easiest way to remove them i have found is to get an air compressor with a air chisel tool for it. or you can always use the old hammer and chisel/flatbar method. but it is really important that you have a smooth surface with no dirt or you will get little air pockets under the tile making it really easy to crack the tile's and it will look like crap because pieces will come out. and when your done with the job, the next day you can lightly tap on the tile with the handle of a screw driver and if it sounds hollow it means you got air pockets underneath. if you have air pockets it is possible to take just the affected tiles out and remortar it/them. also make sure you use mortar not glue, some people think they can use glue but trust me in the long run it doesnt work that well. good luck i hope this helped
- Q: I saw tiles on HGTV once for a bathroom (I want to use them for a kitchen backsplash) they are small tiles but they are attached to each other by a piece of mesh on the back, and you just peel the paper off the back and slap it on the wall, then grout over it. What are these, where can I find it, etc?

- Q: i‘m planning to change the tiles in my tub area. whats the right way of doing this? should i change the drywall to cement backerboard? and how do i fix the joint between the new cement backerboard and the existing wall and ceiling which is textured? pls help!
- hire a professional!! this is no easy job. yes change to backerboard. when you cut the old out make sure to cut it square. tape it ,and then use joint compound just like drywall. textured ceiling....use the tile to your advantage. cut the texture out at the point where you are going to meet and move the tile to cover it all the way around.
- Q: I accidentally tiled over an outlet cover. What can I do to fix this issue with out having to remove all the tile?
- First you need to find the outlet. Go to Lowe's or H D and get an electrical tester that works on the principal of detecting power in the lines. This special tester will have no wires to touch, it looks like a large ink pen. Once you find the outlet just remove the tiles that need to be cut. Regards, Dale

- On the stickers of the brick vertical and horizontal lines are straight, wrong paste the wrong degree of brick to be consistent; flatness is better, brick angle can not have high and low gap, can not have empty paste; cement mortar shall not overflow the length of 1 / Brick angle and edge line shall not leave stains, imprints, scars; reserved water and electricity mouth to the edge of the neat, fixed water pipe interface protruding brick surface height reasonable; residual corner more than reasonable.

- It's so they can easily get into the ceiling and do repairs/alterations to the electrical wiring and/or plumbing.
- Q: There are thousands of individual tiles. If one falls off or something like that does everything burn up? thanks and how did the heat shield not work for the shuttle in 2003? it might have been in 2001 i have to ask my science teacher
- Depends on where that tile falls off or is otherwise compromised. The black tiles take the most heat and would certainly be the ones to be concerned about. The white tiles less are used where the heat produced by the reentry process is less, so a missing tile there, would pose less of a problem.
- Q: i have ceramic tiles that are loose hollow underneath
- the person that installed it probably didn't put enough grout or the right one and maybe they didn't use the right tile for the room, their is such things as tiles for the bathroom or kitchen do to the usage and damage it will be receiving.
