Q:Hi. :)I'm writing a book, and I want YOUR suggestion. What superhuman power could possibly enslave the entire world? Destroy the world? Or enslave the human race, possibly causing a mass holocaust? If Hitler could do it with words and military skills, imagine what a person with actual superhuman abilities could do?Mind control is out of the question :P
Magic and superpowers aren't necessary when the world is already enslaved to big business owners around the world. They control everything from the food you buy, to the gas you have someone else pump, to the clothes you wear and the news you're allowed to see. Try writing fact instead of fiction, it's much more horrifying
Q:I think Banks handles him with ease again. What do you think? Do you think it was a smart move for Mitchell to chase a rematch after being completely embarrassed in the 1rst fight?
Mitchell will win. His power and speed were winning the first round until he got caught. I think he will fight a very cautious fight and win a decision this time. This is a angerous fight to take so soon,,,but I give him credit for doing it. Truth is, Mitchell's career is young but he is not. He doesn't have all the time in the world. His biggest problem I think that is an instinctive thing to do after years of boxing experience. Since Mitchell picked up the sport late he lacks that experiencebut he does not have the time to learn it either. He's damned if he does and damned if he does not. Let's see what happens.
Q:If people have no confidence in central banks, does that mean that money can lose its value, since its signed by the governor? Will it be possible that people lose confidence in money or central bank that they barter to get goods and services? Can other banks issue money instead of central banks of a country?
The buying power of money lies in people's willingness to accept it, so it is very much vulnerable to people's belief in it. People can lose confidence in a currency and look for alternatives such as barter or gold or other nation's currencies, in places like Zimbabwe this is happening today. Most nations do not allow banks other than the central bank to issue currency, although some do allow other national currencies to be accepted.
Q:What is the advantage of mobile power?
2, lithium battery mobile power technology mature cost-effective high-quality manufacturers of lithium battery safety and security (more for laptop batteries, etc.)
Q:Are these usurptation's of power going to go unchallenged by anyone in court? The ACLU is right there for terrorists, where is the ACLU for Americans?Isn't there anyone or group with the cajones to stand up against this tyranny in court?
The so-called gag order has already been lifted. The issue is moot and there is nothing for the ACLU or anyone else to challenge now. Every credible news source I've seen states that the pay limits apply only to banks that accepted bailout money. I came across a blog that stated exactly the same thing you are saying, but the link it provided did not support the assertion. If you have one, I'd love to see it.
Q:I have a Power of Attorney, signed by my husband in 2001, which I used for buying/selling homes, cars, filing income tax, etc. No problems. Should I be able to use it for banking matters (separate accounts), or has it expired? He's not available, due to jail, and keeps telling me that it is still good. The bank doesn't seem to think so.It's our money, in his account!
It all depends on what type of Power of Attorney you have. There durable and non-durable. He is correct when he says there is no expiration date, but like one other person who answered your question, I would be hesitant if it was five years old. If he is incarcerated he can get another P of A free of charge by requesting it with inmate services. Perhaps you might suggest that to him and that would solve the problem of it not being accepted at some places. Another option would be to record it with the county and use a certified copy. That might help.
Q:I am in the UK. I have some savings in my bank account, and over the years I am beginning to wonder, especially that prices are rising (or perhaps the Pound Sterling worth is falling), is it really a good idea to save, or must I invest this money to keep up with inflationCan a smart person help. Thank you.
Its pretty much pointless to leave lots of money in a bank account. Banks don't keep your money in there. Instead, they either loan it out or invest it. Guess what interest rate the banks are getting on your money? I guarantee you its more than 12%. What interest rate do they give to their customers? 0% to 2%. I only recommend leaving about 6 months of income in there for emergency purposes. With banks, you can immediately take cash out at anytime. In the US, the inflation rate is between 3% to 4%. In order to keep up with inflation or beat it, you need to invest your money. I recommend people invest in mutual funds. Mutual funds are long term investments and should be part of your investment portfolio. There's thousands of mutual funds to choose from for all types of investors from investors who are willing to take a little risk to investors willing to take lots of risk. Anyway, here is a free education that banks don't want you to know. Its called the Rule of 72. Its a formula that tells you how many years your money will double given the interest rate. It is calculated by taking 72 and divide it by the interest rate and it will tell you how many years your money will double. With the 3% interest, it will take 24 (72 divided by 3) years for your money to double. With 6% interest, it will take 12 years for your money to double. With 12% interest, it will take 6 years for your money to double. I went to college and there was a very small section in one of my textbooks that went over this. My college professor told me not to worry about it since it was not going to be on the test. So I ignored it and forgot about it until I got a job in a financial company. You are probably wondering where you can get 6% or 12% return on your money. As I hinted before, you do that by investing in mutual funds.
Q:but i make like $600 per month at this stupid job i have.I could buy a house where i live but it would be one for like 750 square feet.I live with my parents and i'm 29.I am getting like and average of 3.2% interest on my money at the bank.Iknow this sounds liek a stupid question. But really, what should I do?
I am a widow in Nigeria. If you could loan me $149,000.00 I can triple your money in three months Kidding, guy, kidding. There is more that I'd like to know. Have you completed college? I'm guessing that you haven't if you're only making $600 a month. (What exactly do you do that only pays $600 a month?) A college degree could be the single best investment that you could make. I'm 50 years old and, frankly, have managed my money reasonably well, to include preparing for retirement. I know so many people who haven't prepared for retirement. When they were young and had money they blew it. Now they're in their 40s and 50s and haven't saved a dime (and they blame everyone, to include the rich and the government, but themselves). What kind of retirement are you going to have making $600 a month? $149,000.00, frankly, isn't a lot of money; not enough to retire on. And do you ever intend to get married and have children? Its a cliche but it really is true that Today is the first day of the rest of your life. The very best of luck to you.
Q:Because I'm choosing a loan and I noticed Commerce Bank and Wachovia both have great reviews on there, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't due to them paying JD Power for that rankings.this is in relation to where i will be getting my stafford loan, customer service is a must.
JD Powers is an independent research company a division of McGraw- Hill.
Q:I have this wild idea of powering a window unit from a battery bank. not 100% about how i would charge the batteries but just a crazy idea. Any suggestions on how i might be able to do it?
The only way running a window air conditioner from batteries to be practical would be if you were getting the electricity for free. Like from wind or some other power source. Otherwise you would have to use AC to charge the batteries, which would be converting 120 AC to 12 DC then have to use an inverter to convert the 12 DC to 120 AC. Ok that is all fine and good, but with each transformation you loose power. So if you plan on charging up batteries then running your AC then you would be counterproductive.
