Q: I knew the implied power are not directly mention in the constitution but they are there. I knew it is also know as the necessary or proper law. I think? Can someone please help me?Give support for where it is located in the constitution so i can go back and read it my self. thanks
Yep necessary and proper clause- article I section 8. It gives congress the ability to have powers over more areas than were mentioned in the constitution explicitly, things the writers of the constitution could have never anticipated. It gives congress a more expanded power. This clause has already been found to give congress the power to regulate banking, establish post offices and raise military forces.
Q: I am doing a project for econ where I have to interview a bank. The thing is I don't know what to ask. Please help
Do you want positive Questions or Negative questions? Example-- Pos: When was your bank first established and who started it? -How many customers do you have? -How many assets do you manage? (Value of accounts, Value of loans, Value of investments) -What kind of technology do you employ to power your bank -How many employees do you have -How would a person best start a career at your bank -Do you like what you do? What is the average day like of a (teller, bank manager, loan officer, etc) Neg: Did your bank take a bailout and why? -Why do you use other people's money for making more money, but then charge them to use their own money if they don't have enough to meet requirements. Example: I loan the bank $500 in the form of a savings acount, they charge me $10 a month because I didn't loan them $1500) Edit: I think you should re-ask this question and say: If you could ask a bank 1 question, what would it be. Then in your description explain the types of questions you are looking for. A list of 10 is a lot of ask in a questionbut if you got 10 answers, you'd have 10 questions.
Q: I would like to know who deregulated airlines, banks, and electic power
Airlines were deregulated by the same folks who regulated them: the federal government. Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 Banks are regulated by both federal and state laws, which have been greatly loosened over the last 25 years. Electricity is regulated by both state and federal laws, which have been loosened over the last decade.
Q: I have this wild idea of powering a window unit from a battery bank. not 100% about how i would charge the batteries but just a crazy idea. Any suggestions on how i might be able to do it?
One issue you are facing is that anything with a motor is going to have induction power needs, which need a lot of extra amps to get them going, so you will need extra energy and amps to kick the unit on. For that, I wouldn't let the unit cycle because the kick-on's would really eat battery faster. Second issue is that converting electricity to chemical battery energy is a loss of energy, not to mention the conversion from DC to AC. The conversion rate is around 85%, so you lose about 15% unless you spend top dollar on the equipment to get you closer to 95%. All batteries also suffer from some sort of degradation effect so you have to keep them constantly charged to keep them ready, which if for frequent power outages would be a good idea, if for fun kind of expensive.
Q: How was George Washington the first president to violate the idea of a federal government confining itself to the constitution's enumerated powers?
An example of Washington using the power of the Executive Branch for something that was specifically not enumerated in the Constitution, was his signing of the Bank of the United States bill proposed by Hamilton and passed by Congress but objected to by Jefferson. Jefferson said the BUS was not authorized by the Constitution. Washington agreed but sided with Hamilton's argument in favor of the BUS. Hamilton said nothing in the Constitution prohibited the creation of the BUS. Since the Congress could collect taxes, it was reasonable to assume that it could create a bank to hold those taxes and act as a bank for the government.
Q: i have an assignment for tomorrow. I have to write an argument about the pros and cons of nuclear power plants/energy. Does anyone have some strong pros and cons? Btw i'm in highschool :) so not to advanced language ;)
Pros: When the oil runs out, as it will do in the next few decades - we really have no alternative but Nuclear energy to satisfy the huge latent demand for energy. Wind, Solar, Hydro, whilst all good, cannot meet the needs our our developed economies. Cons: Uranium isn't in particularly more plentiful supply than OIl, it too will run out, and then we're all truly screwed. It's back to the dark ages.
Q: I recently obtained power of attorney for my father, who is developing Alzheimer's and may some day need help with medical and financial things. However, I'm really not sure how it works.Do I need to call his bank, accountant, doctor, dentist, etc and inform them I have this document? Should I visit them so they can make copies? Or do I simply wait until it's needed (like this year, for taxes) and bring the original with me to prove I have the authority to help him?And what about medical things? For instance, if I want to make sure he isn't missing doctor appointments, and have them tell me when his appointments are, should I take the form over and explain?
capacity of lawyer ability that the holder of the capacity can signify the guy in criminal concerns, make scientific judgements, and different significant merchandise or movements. whether the guy is eighteen, the guy with the capacity of lawyer can act for the person, make scientific judgements and economic concerns.
Q: I don't have Id for him I do have the Limited Power of Attorny nortiarize. He is currently in jail for next two years.
Take it to the bank with the power of attorney. I doubt they'll cash it outright but they should allow you to open an account in his name. I would go to a bank that you do business with regularly and talk to someone other than a teller. Nothing wrong with tellers but they have limited authority. If you son has a bank account anywhere, just deposit it in his account.
Q: What is the capacity of the mobile power?
So if you just give the smart phone backup power supply, it is recommended that you buy a capacity of 4000-5000 mA mobile power can be, those in the capacity of 8000 mA above the mobile power is actually more suitable for tablet PCs and other large battery equipment.
Q: I live in houston, tx and my husband went to jail. I have a notarized durable power of attorney but the bank will not let me deposit his check in my bank because he doesn't sign on my account. He doesn't have a bank account. What can I do? He needs this money to post bail or get an attorney.
Take your business elsewhere. You have a notarized power of attorney which should serve in lieu of his signature. If your bank won't honor it, switch to a bank that will.
