- Q: I just got this Power Bank last night. I used it last night to charge my phone, so I know it was working 12 hours ago at least. I charged it up last night to make sure it had a full charge for work today. Now when I plug my phone and/or tablet into it, it won t charge either. I turn it on, and then it does the auto-shutoff after 30 seconds which it does when you turn it on but don t connect a chargable device within 30 seconds. Last night when I used it and it worked, I was using my phone s USB charge cable. Today, I am also using my phone s charging cable. Any help?

- 40,000 homes is a utility grid but how do you plan to power the homes at night? Electrical production in general has very limited storage capacity. Usually it is easier to simply turn off non baseline facilities and generate sufficient power with some spinning reserve. Many solar thermal facilities have built into them some heat storage capacity that allows operation at night. Neither photovoltaics nor parabolic dish/stirling engine electrical production has any built in energy storage. If you intend to supply power at night you will need additional production or some storage capacity.

- Put some wire into the power hole of the note book ( were you plug it in) the hook it up to a car battery with jumper cables ( red to wire black to ground) this might work.
- Q: I have a four 6 volts deep cycle battery bank arranged to output 12 volts powering a 12 volt power inverter. The inverter has its own built-in charger as the electricity comes and goes where I live. So far so good. In case there is a power failure for, say, two days. Can I use my car to charge the battery bank? I'm thinking about using jump cables. How long will it take for the alternator to fully charge the four batteries?
