- Q: What is the size of the parquet floor?
- 450 ****** 610 round the floor of the professional parquet, you nothing to OKorder see.
- Q: I sometimes have a nightmare where I am trapped on a floor that keeps on tilting steeper and steeper, and I am falling and I can't hold onto anything to keep myself up. Can anyone interoperate this?
- the floor represents your support if the floor is slanted then that means that you are moving to far from your goals. but since you say its getting steeper and your falling then it means that are struggling with an overwhelming problem. it also may mean that you have failed to achieve a goal
- Q: I am looking to live in a second floor apartment. How big is too big of a fish tank to put on the second floor? I have a 75 gallon now. Is that too big. My fish grow fast, I upgrade my tank every year so how big before I have to live on the first floor?
- I wish I had a 75 or larger, but since I am on the second floor I haven't gone larger than a 50. You want to put a tank that big on solid ground, like an outside corner, where the floor is shored up better. And I think it is also stronger if hte wood in the floor that holds the floor up lines up vertical underneath the tank.. can someone explain this better? You may want to ask an expert since your tank will be super heavy, like 800 to 1000 lbs. If you get larger, I would definitely say go for first floor. I am getting ready to transfer to a first floor so I can get bigger tanks. PS, remmeber, the important thing is how much weight is on each square inch of floor, and a water bed is spread out amongst more floor space. Dont get a tall asquarium that big. And make sure the tank sits on a base that is not four legs that puts all the weight in those four spots, but that is prefereably flat or spread the weight out better.
- Q: About 5 years ago my dad put Pergo floors downin our house. It seems like now I am noticing thatwhen it is humid and/or rainy there is moistureon top ot the flooring. I didn't notice this the firstfew years. My dad said many people are having trouble with Pergo floors and ripping them up?JUst wondered what could be causing this.It makes the floors feel sticky and never lookclean. I am probably gonna pull them up soon. Anyone have a good suggestion forflooring in a home with kids/pets? Thanks
- I have pergo floors as well and the answer about ventilation is spot on the mark. I was sure to use a rubber based padding as when when I installed mine to prevent any moisture. Is it possible that you live in a very humid area? I don't know the specifics. It may be best to check with a reputable local contractor. I have lived all over the United States and each area carries with it, their own separate building challenges.
- Q: 1) Show that, for any real number x, the expression "ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] always equals either floor(x) or ceiling(x). In what circumstances does each case arise?I think it equals floor(x) when x is negative and ceiling(x) when x is positive, but I can't do the general proof. Background information: Floor of a real number x = the largest integer less than or equal to xCeiling of an real number x = the smallest integer greater than or equal to x-floor(x) = ceiling(-x)if x is an integer then floor(x)=ceiling(x)
- If x=2k, k∈?, ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = ceiling[2k + 1/ 2] - ceiling[k + 1/4] + floor[k + 1/4] = = (2k+1) - (k+1) + k = 2k = x = floor(x) = ceiling(x). ---------- If x=2k+1, k∈?, ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = ceiling[2k + 1] - ceiling[k + 1/2] + floor[k + 1/2] = = (2k+1) - (k+1) + k = 2k = x = floor(x) = ceiling(x). ---------- If 2k < x ≤ 2k+1/2, k∈?, = 2k+1/2 < (2x+1)/2 = x+1/2 ≤ 2k+1 = ceiling[(2x+1)/2] = 2k+1 and k+1/4 < (2x+1)/4 = x/2+1/4 ≤ k+1/2 = ceiling[(2x+1)/4] = k+1 floor[(2x+1)/4] = k Then ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = (2k+1) - (k+1) + k = 2k = floor(x). ---------- If 2k+1/2 < x < 2k+1, k∈?, = 2k+1 < (2x+1)/2 = x+1/2 < 2k+3/2 = ceiling[(2x+1)/2] = 2k+2 and k+1/2 < (2x+1)/4 = x/2+1/4 < k+3/4 = ceiling[(2x+1)/4] = k+1 floor[(2x+1)/4] = k Then ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = (2k+2) - (k+1) + k = 2k+1 = ceiling(x). ---------- If 2k+1 < x ≤ 2k+3/2, k∈?, = 2k+3/2 < (2x+1)/2 = x+1/2 ≤ 2k+2 = ceiling[(2x+1)/2] = 2k+2 and k+3/2 < (2x+1)/4 = x/2+1/4 ≤ k+1 = ceiling[(2x+1)/4] = k+1 floor[(2x+1)/4] = k Then ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = (2k+2) - (k+1) + k = 2k+1 = floor(x). ---------- If 2k+3/2 < x < 2k+2, k∈?, = 2k+2 < (2x+1)/2 = x+1/2 < 2k+5/2 = ceiling[(2x+1)/2] = 2k+3 and k+1 < (2x+1)/4 = x/2+1/4 < k+5/4 = ceiling[(2x+1)/4] = k+2 floor[(2x+1)/4] = k+1 Then ceiling[(2x + 1) / 2)] - ceiling[(2x + 1) / 4] + floor[(2x + 1) / 4] = = (2k+3) - (k+2) + (k+1) = 2k+2 = floor(x).
- Q: My floors used to look great after moping over with vinegar & hot water ,3 yrs. later the glow is gone. Iv'e used floor products for laminate but all leave smudges after walking on
- Vinegar is acid and strips the finish. I use dish detergent. Dish detergent is really the only benign substance that gets things clean but will not harm the finish. My neighbor uses ammonia. I think that's just a weaker acid myself. Yes, vinegar is acidic and will harm finish.
- Q: If so have you made it on every floor?and whats on every floor? Is it freaky?
- Ive been to the 13th floor haunted house. most people dnt think its real but dats a rumor 2. it is located in dallas by spur 408 gioin to frwy 20 the exit is grady niblo. this is an old building said to be haunted for over 40 years and you go in in a group of five but in order to get ur money back you have to get to the 13th floor. the reason its scary is bcuz u get seperated from your group in order to get ur prize. the cost is 50 dollars but not everybody makes it because it is really haunted you hear people crying and things be fallin and its real fuking dark
- Q: Do stages have sprung floors. I heard it is bad to dance on a floor that doesn't give any. So if the stage isn't sprung you could get injured. So do they have sprung floors? Thanks in advance!
- it depends on the facility. usually theaters have elevated stages, not necessarily sprung or set like dance studios floors are, but the elevation takes off the impact on your body. to be on the safe side, always practice proper and safe technique and execute your movements with plies
- Q: thank u very much but sorry just wondering if wooden flooring would make a difference to the warmth of the floor
- Temperature wise, I think that wood floors are warmer. Color wise, they are usually warmer as well because most of the time they are brown and when they are a little duller than plastic, that seems to warm the room up as well. I probably have a large bias against laminate flooring though. I think it is such a waste of money. It usually looks like hell from the beginning at least, and it will guarunteed look like hell eventually. Wood flooring can last forever, if you take care of it, and even if you don't take care of it, it still has that rustic quality.
- Q: How does the wooden floor hang on the wall, that is, how the floor hangs on the wall
- Specific points of reference for the following: solid wood floor on the top surface, there are two ways: First, the top or to do wood keel, made and shop the same lattice-like; and then the solid wood flooring paste; Note: the wall and the top floor of the floor, the more is the choice of blockboard baseboard, the floor is the first floor of the board, Such a good operation is also saving, but also to ensure that the floor better paste; but pay attention to the wall or the top floor of the mouth of the problem, this should pay special attention to the conventional top shape to make a groove to the floor concave, That is, stainless steel edge or other.
