Q: I'm an engineer. I was employed at a rather large company that manufactures heavy duty off road vehicles, (Wheel Loaders and Excavators and such). Recently, I've lost my job because the quot;higher upsquot; in my company decided to cut costs. They hired an engineer from India to replace me at a fraction of the cost of my wage. I'm middle class and when I see these people with six figure incomes it makes me question their true worth? They will argue that it's actually positive for our the company and our ecomony, but as I sit here typing this, (unemployed), I wonder....who are the ones benefitting? I am unemployed. I don't build bulldozers any longer but they are still being built. These bulldozers clear the land for the house that I can no longer afford. The carpenter, plumber, electrician, etc. don't have a job because the house was never built. They don't have to buy tools anymore either. The trucks that deliver those tools will be parked. I wish I could type more, but you get the point!
Do you really want more government involvement in the economy? How do you think things got the way they are now, too much government interference in private business. How many small businesses are being forced out of business because they cannot afford to meet government regulations, and never could for that matter. How many of them were taxed out of existence too?
Q: i do not have a pic of it. so i'll just describe. basically, it looks like a excavator, except the end of the extended 'hand' is not for digging, but is attached with a driller kind of thing. but it is not for drilling holes, to be exact, it usually break concrete roads/floors such that a new concrete surface can be built again. don't think it is called a excavator drill.
is it this one its called uammer excavator
Q: What is the capacity of the 'bucket' or 'backhoe' of a large construction excavator for commercial buildings? What is the capacity of a dump truck that takes the payload from such an excavator? I'm trying to figure out how many dump truck trips and how many scoops of earth it will take to excavate a 40m x 20 m x 4 m hole, for an apartment building construction site.
well that stuff is pretty impressive, but try cubic yds or meters etc, it might help simplify it.
Q: What's the name of the lock door?
Are you talking about a lock with two hooks that can adjust the length?. That's the lock on the steering wheel of the car!
Q: My key broke in the backhoe ignition today and i have no idea how to get the cut part of the key out of the ignition switch my key broke in half and the caterpillar dealership sends out one of the trucks every three months but they came last month and i do not want to go and buy a new ignition switch i need to use the backhoe tomorrow and all other machines are being used tomorrow i have a 5230 excavator at the shop
Caterpillar Ignition Switch
Q: How big of construction jobs can these do and can someone make a good living owning one where there is always construction going on? What kind of jobs and how big a job can these machines do?
Small track hoes are used in jobs large and small. In almost any construction job, there are tight places that you can't work around with a large hoe. If you are digging a trench for a single electrical duct, you may only need a 6 wide trench, 3' deep. It would be almost silly to use a big machine for this work. Doing utility work in subdivisions where you have to work around fence lines and structures, a small hoe makes sense. But, you would also be in competition with the ditch witch equipment which come in walk-behind models, which are fun to use by the way. Something to consider - it is very easy for a contractor to rent a small piece of equipment to perform a few tasks that are subsidiary to a large job, rather than take on an additional subcontractor to perform the work, just because he happens to own the small machine required. Some contractors rent, rather than own, most of their trucks and machinery. So with only this one piece of equipment, you may not get many jobs on large construction sites. That leaves small jobs for homeowners or small businesses. I rented a nice little trackhoe that stated a 7' reach, or maximum trench depth. In actuality, that depth can only be achieved directly below the machine, so 4' to 5' was the maximum depth of trench I could actually attain. It had a small dozer blade that I thought would save me renting an actual dozer, but this blade almost seemed like a design after thought and was impractical for most conventional use. I ended up returning the machine and renting a dozer anyway.
Q: i have a Bearded dragon and i wanted to use it for him. it seems like it would be more natural substrate than shelf liner but i wanted to know what peoples experiences were with it ?
I've looked at it a few times, but am not sold on it. I would ask a herp vet for their advice. I have mine on Carefresh (recommended by my herp vet). Is your beardie is an adult? He might like it. Mine likes to bury in it, and I swear he makes little castles with it when he's bored :). He's done well with the Carefresh for almost 2 years now.
Q: Where do I need the excavator?
Luqiao company, mineral company wharf, municipal, afforestation, water conservancy, demolition,To carry out the project needs more local machines.
Q: I'd like to elevate my backyard and it's going to involve 333 square yards of soil. Does anybody know how much it would cost to get a dump truck, a driver, and how much soil dump trucks carry?
Ask some local excavators for a quote. The prices will flex as to where you are, how busy the companies are, how far they have to haul the stuff, current fuel costs, cost of the material and other issues.
Q: I have a glass cage that's 36quot; long, 29quot; tall and 15quot; deep and I was wondering if I could put a couple leopards in here or would it be too tall? I have a big branch that goes from the bottom to the top and I was gonna put excavator clay in for him to climb also.
For two FEMALE adult leopard geckos, that's a good cage. Make sure you watch for bullying and make sure they're both getting enough to eat. Provide them with several different hides, as well, not just the 3 necessary hides (hot, cool, humid). I wouldn't recommend having the big branch in there, as they could fall and injure themselves. They do climb, but not very well. The excavator clay can also be a pain in the butt to work with. Not only is it messy, but it can collapse if it gets too dry and small amounts can still get ingested. Since it's clay, it can easily impact a leopard gecko even in small amounts. Stick to something solid such as tile, linoleum, vinyl, paper towels, newspaper, or butcher paper.
