- Q: When I was 11 I was with my mother and brother and we smelled smoke and we were outside. How was it that when I asked my mom if I can do anything to help she said lets pull the fire alarm. How was it she had me do it as opposed to my brother? Was it normal for my brother to watch me do it. - yeah 'green tabacco', ok. but i get your drift. no there is no thouhoh way to resuse the resin inside your glass pipe. well i mean there is, but i don't recommend the option. the best way to clean it out is to go to your local pipe/tabacco store and get a pipe cleaner. you can also do the above alcohol and salt trick but using a pipe cleaner is easier and faster than that. also buy some of those fuzzy pipe cleaners we al used to play with in school :) and if you don't feel like actualy doin work, grab a small pot, place your glass piece in it and just barely cover with water. slowly bring it to a boil and kep watching it! also its important that you have your piece in the water prior to boiling 'cause you risk shattering it if you put cold glass into boiling water. so yeah boil it for about 15-20 min, take it out and place it on a paper towel or whatnot DON'T PUT IT IN COOL WATER! IT WILL EXPLODE!! ok so those are the ways to claen it out. if you want to salvage the 'tabacco resin' the only way is to intentionally break your piece. many friends i know only buy cheap pieces for this purpose.

- Hi i would have suggested the water method as it would give a true answer. you will have to dry it out afterwards as resin does not like water. that's why it's not a good idea to do any kind of casting on a damp or rainy day as this inhibits the resin from curing. to the point it does not cure at all. temperature also affects casting it needs to be warm. cold will stop the curing process. glass fibre resin is the same.

- It's possible, but quite difficult, You have to evaporate the natural solvent present in the resin. In most cases, this will be water, but it is usually so intertwined with the resin molecules that it is extremely difficult to get out.
- Q: I am a college student. Due to allergies, I have to cook more. I have a dorm with a kitchen. I'm just starting out.I was cooking some chicken and basically, I just tossed it on a pan with some oil and PAM. It was on low-medium heat.I put it in the pan and it cooked for a minute and then smoke began to rise. Not a lot, but it was noticeable. - No. Wood fibers (the primary component of cardboard is kraft paper, which is made from long virgin wood fibers) don't react to fiberglass resin at all. It might do a bit of a number on the glue in the cardboard, but I don't think that's likely either. Try it and see how it works out. I've applied fiberglass resin directly to shoebox cardboard and been sorry I did it, because then I was stuck with this hard little plank of material that wasn't especially useful. Kind of like an electronics breadboard, what I had. Maybe with more planning I could have done something with it.
