Q: After all the great talk about SharkBite fittings and how they are a quick and easy way to fix a water line, I am stumped on the pipe sizes. What happened is when I was in Lowes, I noticed their knockoff brand called GatorBite. It comes in 1/2 and 3/4 like Sharkbite. But anyone who knows about copper and pvc knows that 1/2 is actually 5/8 OD. So, a 1/2 copper pipe will not fit inside a SharkBite fitting. You would have to use 3/8 to get a 1/2 OD since the fittings are 1/2 ID.Can someone clarify this? I tried lining up a section of 1/2 copper to the GatorBite fitting and it was exactly the same size as the sleeve. And the demo display had some pipes hanging out of the fitting that you could pull out for demonstration. The copper pipr I pulled out slid right inside a 1/2 copper line. 3/8 for sure.

Q: He suggested picking upon a new curling iron or get my hair done at a hair salon I said no to both of these and then I thought of my mom and said i could roller set my hair And he said i have never seen you in rollers before and he bought me some I got back home and have not used my curling iron again as I now prefer putting my hair in curlers
Go talk to your local hardware store. They are alot more helpful than the big guys. You should think twice before chaning out the copper. The copper is stronger cleaner than PVC.
Q: What type of material will reflect most of the electromagnetic waves coming from a microwave magnetron? What kind of material is the best?
If it affects every fixture in the house than it sounds like the isolation valve is partially closed. The plumber would have shut this off to replace the pipe and probably did not turn it fully back on right away to prevent his fittings from blowing out from water pressure. Check around your hot water heater for a valve on a pipe that feels warm. If it has a lever, the lever must be turned so that it is parallel with the pipe when fully on. If the valve has a knob, turn it counterclockwise until it stops, this is the fully open position. If this problem is isolated to only one fixture, check the stops to the specific fixture to make sure they are fully on. If you have a mixing valve for any of these fixtures, this may need adjusting too. If this doesn't work call the plumber back to repair. It is industry standard to warranty work for at least 1 year.
Q: I've always wondered that when I see people wearing hats, if the hat prevents the sun rays from penetrating the skin.
I love mittens and had lots of pairs as a childattached to a string, still lost them or at least one. In Florida I don't need mittens, just gardening gloves!
Q: i have a school dance comming up in a few weeks and i want some ideas for 80's style i know it is all big hair but i mean clothes i can handle makeup and hair but i need ideas for clothes its suposed to be simi-formal and 80's style lol so yea i guess i need some ideas on how to mix those two together! HELP! lol
since the heat in the hoses is always going to be there, you just might try looking for the kids that are installed into a heater hose for the reverse flow flush. brass fittings have barbed ends that retain the hoses very well and that is not avoidable.
Q: I am looking for a autocad add on program that will allow me to insert pipe fittings, flanges, ect. ect. I prefer the pull down menus those are really nice. The thing is, is I don't know much about piping so a program that takes the guess work out would be nice. one example is i don't know how much to trim off of a pipe in order to connect a welded 90 to the end of it. one major problem is it would have to be compatible with 2009 LT. But any suggestions would be helpful i may be able to convince my boss to purchase the full version of acad.
A smoke alarm is typically a self-contained smoke sensor and alarm-sounding unit. A fire alarm may be nothing more than an electric bell with a manual switch to turn on the bell when there is a reason to evacuate the building. Or a fire alarm may have smoke and heat sensors, in addition to manual pull stations, and distributed sounders that include the ability to broadcast recorded messages about evacuation, or to broadcast specific instructions, like a public address system.
Q: Is it safe to use a fire hose as a substitute for an enema? Just wondering. Plugged up in Poughkeepsie.?
I believe what you refer to is called PEX. There are other trade names as well, but this is what I use. The piping itself will contract when thawed and will (has not yet) not leak. You should be aware that the piping is supposed to be freeze resistant, but the brass fittings used for the connections are NOT. Find some comfort in the fact that It is extremely unlikely that the fitting will freeze and crack, given the amount of flexing in the PEX piping. Also know that this type of piping is not designed to be used outdoors or where sunlight may contact it. The components will breakdown leading to failure. The piping needs to be covered to prevent UV light from hitting it. There are other factors too, like needing special tools for the connections and not scratching or gouging the outer sheath, etc.
Q: Even though his face looked more messed up GSP was clearly outstriking Shields for at least 3 or 4 of the 5 rounds and was never in danger of losing. After 4 rounds of futility why didn't Shields or his corner try a different gameplan? Would have made for a much more entertaining fight.
Pump performance drops off sharply with increases in the Total Dynamic Head. TDH is the sum of the static head (height of discharge) and the dynamic head (resistance of pipe and fittings). Only small pumps are measured in GPH instead of GPM. 125 GPM (7500 GPH) is not a small pump. Their instructions call for a 18 dia. basin 30 deep. I would not go less than 24x36 for a basin on that size pump. If the basin is too small, the pump will short cycle, and even with internal temperature protection, it could burn out in a few days of short cycling. Be sure to put some holes into the bottom of the basin even if you are filling it from a drainage pipe from the side, as water pressure from the ground will float the basin up out of the hole. The weight of the pump is not enough to hold it down, in most cases. Be sure to drill a 3/16 hole in the pipe between the pump and check valve, preferably just above the pump discharge outlet, to prevent an airlock from damaging the shaft seal. It also needs a dedicated 15 amp circuit, with nothing else plugged into it. Personally, I would go with a Zoeller model 292, for that application, but the price would be much higher for a pump of Zoeller quality. They also have excellent technical support.
Q: The clothes in Sims 3 are abnormally shiny reflective, unlike realistic material which would be particularly dull (Unless it was silk or plastic or chainmail lol)I was wondering if anyone knew of a fix or mod for this 'problem'?
Dorms have a system where the floor RA checks the area after a smoke detector indicates a problem on the main panel, and notifies the HR whether or not to set off the Horns/strobes. If a pull station is pulled it will set off the alarms instantly. The activation of a sprinkler head will set off the alarms instantly.
Q: water is made of hydrogen, a flammable gas, and oxygen, a gas necessary to fuel fires.
hot topic, spencers. also try pacsun- the hoodies may not be gothic but you'd probably be able to find some to fit your style.
