- Just dry fit everything first. Get the pipe up to about where you want your hole and mark where it terminates. Now drill your hole and make sure everything lines up. Once it all fits mark the pipes and fittings with marker. Now when you glue just line up the markings and you should be good. That pipe is easy to work with.

- Q: May I ask what material EN39 is? Used to make a threaded pipe joint
- Groove connection: This is the most advanced connection mode at present. There are two two connecting pipes, valves, or pipes and valves that are connected by clamps. In the outer pipe or valve connecting end have an annular groove manufactured according to the standard, when connected with a supporting clamp. Site construction, installation and disassembly are very convenient and quick. Not only the seal is reliable, but also saves time and material. It has incomparable advantages in large caliber connection.

- make the threads and drill the stainless the size as needed to accept the copper pipe the fittings are not necessary if you do that you may have to braze the copper elbow to mate an elbow or some type of fitting to accommodate the column .. instead of buying all that brazing equipment find a welder that will do those short jobs take you fittings to the welder [[ it costs less for you to go to his shop ]] . enjoy the spirits [[ you will have to give it away as the sale of the moon-shine is against the laws and ATF will not like you .

- There should be dielectric nipples at the heater , if not that can cause some problems (electrolysis) , if the well pump or pressure switch is shorting or passing a small amount to ground it can shorten the life of your pipes drastically . I have replaced some galv. pipe that didn't last very long (about 6-8 months) . The supply house had gotten a batch that was from Mexico they replaced the bad stuff and I had to eat the labor but I kept my customer happy . The China pipe is worse about the galv. coating being to thin or of ?? quality (it too doesn't last very long) I have seen the welded seams not welded . The cost of copper has gotten ridiculess and so I now use Aqua PEX or Dura PEX for most of my water lines. I suspect this plumber may have lost a customer over this as you are asking .

- Two solutions: - use dielectric unions between the galvanized iron pipe and the stainless steel hoses, - use a 6 (or longer) hard brass pipe nipple between the galv iron pipe and SS hoses.
