- Q: Okay, like a week ago I caught a daddy long legs (a crane fly) in my room with a mug and an envelope and I just left it there, when I removed it there were loads of little black dots on the envelope, I didn't really think about it cos I figured it was the coffee that was inside the mug or something. - Crane flies reproduce in summer, but the eggs take 2-3 weeks to hatch, not to mention the time they spend as larvae, so if you caught it last week it doesn't sound like that would be the case. I would call an exterminator to get their opinion.

- realdolby is correct. Small crane from parts that can be transported in service elevator is brought up and assembled. It is used to swing out and lower larger crane's parts. Then the small crane is broken apart and taken down in elevator.
- Q: I need to make a crane in my mechanical class. I can use anything pretty much (pulleys, levers, etc.) The goal is to make a crane with a claw that can pick up a weighted container in a tub of water. It needs to be operated by handle or something, and the base of machine must be on the table top. Any help will be appreciated.

- Q: I was wondering if Steam Cranes are still used to clear train derailments or are the all mothballed now? What do they use to clear derailments now days if the not the Steam Cranes? Also way are there 2 types of hooks on the crane anyway? Thanks
- I am not aware of any steam cranes, they are all diesel as far as I know. the two types of hooks are for different types of pulling, one is generally for straigh lifting and the other for pulling across the ground or up an embankment where the pulling force is at somewhat of an angle to the equipment. .
- Q: as the crane cabin temprature is very high which is not good for equipment pls advise which air condition is good for colling
- I would use a roof mounted unit. They are commonly used in campers. 10,000 btu should be ample.
