- I found an origami crane crest. It is called Orizuru Omodaka (折鶴沢潟) or Omodaka Orizuru (沢潟折り鶴). e-mon .jp/kamon/kamon12.html (on the 7th row, 2nd from the left) Orizuru = origami crane. As the previous answerer said, cranes are considered as sacred birds (reichou; 霊鳥) which bring us luck and happiness. They are also considered as a symbol of longevity as you can see in the following saying. 鶴は千年亀は万年 Cranes live for 1000 years, turtles live for 10000 years. Omodaka = a plant that stands near water. It is also called Kachigusa (勝ち草 = plant of victory). Hope this helps.

- It's okorder /.... Judging by the fact that a Google search results in many different companies/aircraft that incorporate the term 'air crane', I would say so. But it seems that the term is usually associated with heavy-lift rotorcraft. It also appears that the term is in the public domain. So, you could call it 'JV's Air Crane' or something like that. I've Googled SkyLift, AirLift, Zeplift- all taken However, DiriLift, DirigiLift,and ZepCrane yielded no results. *I relinquish all rights to these terms

- Assuming mechanical I suppose that is the size of the area of the two tracks on a crawler type crane. The tracks or treads are similar to those on a tank or bulldozer. One track covers a rectangle in contact with the ground. Both tracks are spread apart, parallel and form some kind of rectangular (length x width) base area for the crane.

- Like an Electra set, they are dismantled then put back together. They are transported in sections along with the counter balance weights. The most solid part is the cab.

- Do not know where you live but I worked in a Shipyard in South Mississippi That had Cranes which picked up Modules which weighed 100 tons. Most were in the range of 50 to 70 tons the limiting factor was the range of the lift away from the crane. The further away from the Crane the less the load limit but the Cranes were rail mounted so they could traverse and carry the load anywhere. We had one Crane capable of handling 500 tons, a real monster. These are all located at Pascagoula Mississippi. Most were imported from Germany.
