QTZ125(6015) FAQ
Q: What is tower crane?
A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.
Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?
A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client: max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.
- Q:I have to answer some questions about an except from Where I Lived, and What I Lived For by Henry Thoreau. I don't need an explanation for all the metaphors he uses and what they mean, but what is he talking about with the Pygmy thing? Do the pygmies battle the cranes because... they want to eat them? Are cranes just d!cks? Is a crane some type of weapon?

- Q:I watched a man climb one once and he wasn't secured. Crazy. How much do they get?If there are any operators on here, do you get scared when you climb up/down?
- Tower crane operators are actually one of the highest paid of crane operators. It takes many years of career progression and many skills upgrading courses to reach that level. Crane operators start out with the crane trucks operating on ground level. They earn about 2k to 3k a month at this stage. They then progress to low rise cranes and then finally to high rise cranes. All the high rise crane operators are specialists in their field with many years of working experience. They would earn perhaps 7k to 8k a month.
- Q:What symbols are there in the story? What might be the symbolic meaning of the sea? the boat? the seabirds? the shark? the unmanned life-saving station? the lighthouse? the tourists on the beach? What is the theme of the story? What does the story as a whole say about human beings and nature? about male bonding? about survival? how are these three topics related in the story as a whole?
- Temporary. It is sort of classic that a group of people are thrown together by some terrible tragedy or circumstance, but unless there is something beyond that one day or hour, there is no common bond that will make it permanent. The Open Boat is a terrific story. I always liked it. It reminded me of the movie stagecoach or the movie The Open Boat which is a bit different. It's all about people being together and having to work to survive. They went down together, but how much else do they have in common? My guess is little.
- Q:What type of crane done the lift?what type of object was the crane lifting?what was the weight of the load being lifted?
- the lift capacity of the Crane is pretty much dictated by the type of crane it is. The largest Gantry / Bridge type is capeable of 1,500 tons.. the largest tower is 100 tons w. a 100meter turning radius. Tracked lattice boom type is 1,600 tons...........(self contained) there's one that will do 4000 tons with modifications including seperate tracks for counterweights
- Q:why was the japanese crane hunted for its plumage in the 20th century?

- Q:Who do you think was better and who would've won if they faced.
- willie with out a doubt
- Q:Firstly, I realize that the 1000 paper crane thing is based on faith and not science. I'm not stupid. Secondly, Do the 1000 cranes have to be in the same place? If I send one of my cranes to a friend across the country, would that no longer count as part of my 1000 cranes? If a crane gets destroyed, must I start over or replace that crane? If anyone has any knowledge or link pertaining to the 1000 paper crane myth, please post it. Thank you.
- The myth seems to surround the FOLDING on the 1,000 cranes - it is the sacrifice on the part of the person doing the folding that is the magic not the cranes themselves. See the Wiki......
- Q:I remember it was either an anime/manga or a movie but a boy or girl makes a thousand paper cranes for someone who is dying (possible their mother). I'm pretty sure it's an anime. It's not the story about the little girl with leukemia, I know that. I also remember the little girl/boy putting them on the edge of the bed or something? It's not much to go by but if you can help me I would be eternally grateful.
- Sadako and the 1000 paper cranes by Eleanor Coerr; the anime theatrical.
- Q:I only wish to know about Tower Cranes, not any other type of crane. Also only wish to know about cranes on the job, not sitting in a crane yard. I am an operator and looking to move and want to know where the work is best so a list of top five would be terrific. Thanks.
- We have been told that our state bird was a crane. That's because there are so many of them here all the time. Construction is booming in Oklahoma. I think most of them are coming from the east and west coasts. They can get a much larger house here for a whole lot less. They are sold when they are being built.
- Q:for example: erection, technical data...
- A bridge crane is one that looks like a bridge (sorry I am tired). It sits on two railway tracks. One at either side of say a building. The tracks are at a fair height. The crane bridge spans between the tracks. Long travel is when the crane moves along the tracks. Cross travel is when the 'crab' moves sideways along the bridge. The crab has the hoist on it with a drum and cable type arrangenment. The lifting gear or hook is attached to the cable. They are very useful in factories for transporting large parts from one process to another. They transport pretty well anywhere in a well designed building in that Long Travel can be X cross travel can be Y and hoist up and down can be Z.
