Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?

A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

Q:I'm supposed to be critiquing an article for a class of mine.. and I don't feel like I understand the concept enough to critique his use of it... (It's an article about The Red Badge of Courage... the author talks about how the observing narrator Stephen Crane creates in the novel uses patterned reality without ambiguity... he's describing one of the scenes in which the dead soliders are somewhat personified.. describing them in terms of the living...... erm anyone take a class on realism? your help is greatly appreciated

Q:i have to make a children's story about how the whooping crane became endangered; (based on real facts) ideas?
You could write a story about an old Whooping Crane with lots of children that goes on migration only to come back and find her home has been destroyed. So she goes and starts trying to raise awareness about it, and eventually finds a new home due to her efforts. This would need much more tweaking and changing of course.
Q:My Sister gave me a Russian Lacquer box with two flying cranes on it. There is supposed to be a story behind the cranes, but I can't find it online. Does anyone know where I can find this, or happen to know what the story is?
This is an old Russian tradition of painting cranes on laquered boxes like the icon paintings. Many different towns would make these type of boxes. Russian legend claims that the city was a home to icon-painters even before the Mongol invasions. At least since the 17th century, Kholui has been a producer of lacquer boxes, plates, and other painted items that this region of Russia is famous for. After the Bolshevik Revolution, icon painting became unpopular and even dangerous. However, Kholui painters kept painting, at this time in secrecy, giving the area a kind of legitimacy in the cultural/artistic world. The style of icon painting in Kholui is particular to this town, and distinctly different from the more widely-known Palekh style of painting. The icon-painters in Kholui use a large amount of green hues, as opposed to the style of using mostly red colors, as is traditional in Palekh. The Ivanovo Oblast is home to the cities of Putchezh and Kholui. It is found in the center of the Eastern European Plain, and is part of the Central Economic Area of Russia.
Q:OMG! a phoba of crane flys, and there are 5 on my celling right now!!! What do I do, will the move and fly around eventually? I can't kill them, they are out of my reach, and if they start moving, im runing the %^$ outta my house. Will they die by tommorow? or will they just hang there?
Yuk! I feel your pain - I hate crane flies, too. They are the only animals I don't like. I know they are harmless but they're just so damn creepy, with all those horrible long legs just waiting to dangle on your face! *shudder* My normal way of dealing with them is to smack them with a magazine or newspaper, but if they're on the ceiling I'd go with the person who said suck them up with the Hoover. If you can stand to have them in the house much longer, you could just wait for them to die - they only live 24 hours (in their adult form, that is - they will already have spent some time as larvae). In response to mj1112's answer, crane flies do not eat mosquitoes! As adults they usually do not feed at all, since they live only 24 hours - if they do, it will just be a sip of nectar.
Q:anyone know of any Crane Kung fu teachers in MN twin cities area?
The closest you will find in your area that is related to White Crane Fist is Southern Praying Mantis. Grand Master Gin Foon Mark is one of the highest level Jook Lum Masters in the world. Even though it is Mantis fist, it is a Hakka Kuen art like White Crane and they have the same foundation. I study Yong Chun White Crane Fist and I can tell you that the art you seek is difficult to find. If I did not find my Teacher, I would want to learn Southern Mantis or Bak Mei, Chow Gar, or Chu Gar.

Q:I know this is a longshot someone will know what I'm talking about... but I just got a flash memory of a poem where a bird with long legs (I believe cranes, but it could have been flamingos or some other bird) and kids threw stones at them and their legs just snapped.... that's all I can remember, but I remember whatever the line was describing the legs snapping really well because it was in such sharp contrast to the rest of the poem.... anyone have any clue what poem this is?
The Crane and The Crow'-Aesop's fables The farmer threw the stone at the crane and broke both his legs. The injured crane said to the crow, What has become of your God-given prophecies? Why didn't you warn me that his was going to happen?

Q:They like fly on peoples face, i dont know why they come up on the face and it creeps me out, i have no idea why it comes inside of the house in the first place?
They come inside the house looking for mosquitoes! Crane Flies are great mosquito hunters, in fact we call them skeeter eaters. I'm from the south, plenty of mosquitoes here and we love Crane Flies. They're totally harmless to people or anything else besides mosquitoes, and since mosquitoes are proven carriers of numerous deadly diseases such as malaria, yellow fever, and the dreaded Nile virus, I'd much rather have Crane Flies around me than mosquitoes. Do yourself a favor and learn a bit more about these fascinating and very helpful critters, I'm sure you'll be willing to cut them a little slack if you do. edit Leolupus is correct! It turns out after 40 years I was completely wrong ~ they do *not* eat mosquitoes. I have been informed by an expert (my father-in-law, who is an entomologist at Texas AM and laughed at me when I mentioned this question my answer) that adult Crane Flies eat flower nectar, decaying vegetation, seedling plants, mosquito larva (but not adult mosquitoes) or nothing at all depending on their species. They are, however, harmless to humans since they're totally unable to bite, though they're considered a pest by some farmers due to the habit of some species of dining on young crops. Oh well, sometimes you start out trying to teach someone a lesson and you end up learning one instead. Thanks for bringing up this subject, Bebe :-)
