Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?
A: Four main categories: normal tower crane with cat head, internal climbing tower crane, top less tower crane and luffing tower crane.
Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?
A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.
Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?
A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

- Yes. Here in Southern Oregon (and in CA too) we have giant Califronia crane flies. They really do get that big, its not just a freak.

- Blue cranes? You mean great blue heron. They eat fish, frogs, snakes, anything smallish that lives in shallow waters.

- A bit more information might help. In England there are Winches and then there are winches. As for Cranes are we talking about birds.........actually there are only a few type of each.......but there can be quite a few variations of the basic types. let's say 6 types of cranes and 4 or 5 winches.
- Q: What is a typical hourly wage, and what kind/how much training is required? Is there a special certificate that you have to get, sort of like a driver's or pilot's license? Does it vary much depending on what type of crane (track crane vs. tower crane)?
- Before you can operate a crane, you have to possess a trade certificate from a licensed agency. And before you got one, you have to undergo training and it depends on the extensiveness of the program of a licensed agency. the trade certificate is like a license, it has range of machines which you can operate with once license. Salary differs and it is based on hazards of work. A typical example is the crane operator in construction of Burj Tower. Being on the top of the building is not an easy job so the operator will likely receive salary more than a crane operator who is working in a typical high rise building.

- I give them black sunflower oil seeds along with chicken seed as we have chickens and ducks, They have just started to come and I am thrilled as I watched them do their jumping, dance,and expanding their wings Just beautiful. I also gave them bread crumbs which they devoured!!

- Wind becomes an issue when lifting large loads with a crane that has a long boom. On some large cranes you may see an anemometer near the end of the crane's boom. The crane operator will usually not make certain heavy lifts if the wind speed is too high. If the crane does not have an anemometer, they may be using a flag to tell them the direction of the wind and to give them a rough estimate of wind's speed.
