Introduction:
Tower Crane is a machinery used for vertical lifting and horizontal delivering of building materials and any other heavy items during construction process. It can lift and lay down, horizontally shift, and rotate, so the working range is very large. The whole body can be fixed or movable.
Features:
1. All the components are designed to minimize the total number of trucks required to transport. The jib components can house the jib ties to make transport easier and quicker.
2. With the factory-performed pre-reeving and the auxiliary winch supplied as standard, assembly of the jib and counter-jib ties can be carried out quickly and in total safety.
3. The mechanisms are always used at full power. When hoisting, the speed is optimized according to the load and command used. In distribution, progressive variation of speedand the maximum speed are adapted to the weight of the load. In orientation, there is controlled proportionalspeed with optimal acceleration and deceleration in accordance with the maximum admissible torque for the mast.
4. DVF Distribution
The jib-footDVF mechanism is easily accessible in total safety.
Progressive speed variation by proportional control.
The speed depends directly on the controls manipulated by the crane operator.
To make driving the crane easier, 2 hard spots integrated into the controlsprovide better pinpointing of the speed.
5. RVF + orientation
The RVF Optima + orientation enables gentle rotating movements without jerking.
Fully integrated progressive control.
Driving adapts to the behavior of the crane operator:
Traditional driving thanks to action controlled by stoppage of the command. The slow-down phase of the jib is managed by the frequency variator in this case.
Or by an inverted command in the slow-down phase, called a "counter-orientation" command.
As a result, the crane operator can control stoppage.

- Q: how tower crane extend it heights?

- Q: How do you erect a crane. surely you would need a crane to make a crane.?
- Modern building cranes (the tower cranes that you see on most building sites) have the ability built in to jack themselves up as the building grows. Jacks raise the crane at ground level, allowing a new section to be inserted at the bottom of the tower. But the crane arrives at the building site in pieces, and a small truck-mounted or crawling crane may in fact be required to assemble and erect the tower crane - so, except for the smallest cranes that could be put up by hand, you are correct.
- Q: I am familiar with them, I have seen them before at my previous houses. But this is the first spring season for me in the house I am living in and they are absolutely everywhere. They stay right out side the house and they are all over the yard. I want to know if anyone knows any possible ways to rid them from the vicinity of our home. Thanks for the answers.

- Q: The mobile crane has a weight of 116kip and center of gravity at G1; the boom has a weight of 29kip and center of gravity at G2. Determine the smallest angle of tilt θ of the boom, without causing the crane to overturn if the suspended load is W = 38kip . Neglect the thickness of the tracks at A and B. Determine the smallest angle of tilt θ of the boom, without causing the crane to overturn.

- Q: What is the easiest way to transport vertically? What is applicable? What is the difference between tower crane and tower crane?
- Tower crane, tower crane, also known as tower craneTower crane = tower crane = tower craneThere are many ways of vertical transportation. Construction elevator hoist etc..Tower crane features: large operating space, mainly used in housing construction materials vertical and horizontal transmission and installation of building components. It consists of three parts: metal structure, working mechanism and electrical system. The metal structure includes the tower, the boom and the base. The working mechanism has four parts, lifting, luffing, turning and walking. The electrical system consists of motors, controllers, power distribution cabinets, connecting lines, signals and lighting devices, etc..

- Q: Before the Advent of the Railroad Steam Recovery Crane Car (pictures below), how were Locomotive Steam Engines recovered after a derailment from the 1830's to the 1890's?
- Old Man Dirt is right. Block and tackle. Remember too those early engines weren't that heavy. The most common type from 1850 to the 1890s was the 4-4-0. They, and the other types were usually between 25 and 60 tons. I don't necessarily collect old rail photos, but I've seen many hundreds in other people's collections. And early locomotive salvage was usually block and tackle, with another engine brought in to furnish the muscle required. Since this could be a lengthy process if the wreck was extensive, a temporary track, or sometimes called a shoo-fly would be built to move trains past the derailment, or to enable getting another engine and hoisting equipment positioned.
- Q: because i have this huge sofa i need to get to 2nd floor but i cant coz the staircase is too small
- Talk to a lumber yard that has a boom truck. Ask them how much to do it. A boom truck will cost much less than a crane. A boom truck can reach 45 to 50 feet. In this economy they are looking for anything they can get. They will most likely do it. But when really busy they wont. But things are slow. Builder 30 years. A crane will cost about 250.00 of the first hour. with a one hour min.
