Q: what is needed beside the panels and do you need an electrician to hook it up
most times yes.
Q: I contend:As far as the solar panels causing global warming I'll try to explain. If you put a black panel on the ground or on your house and don't connect it to anything, it will absorb solar energy (heat) during daylight and release it at night (radiation). The net heat gain is zero. If you hook up a solar panel in the same place but hook it up to batteries, charge the batteries during sunlight hours and using that energy to electrically heat the home at night. The panels will absorb solar energy during the day but will convert that to electrical energy in the batteries instead of radiating it back into space at night. The result is a net gain in earth's temperature.Right or wrong?
Solar energy is very inefficient, and so most of the sunlight that is absorbed by the solar cells is re-radiated back as heat. But that leads to a bigger point. Global warming is the ability, or inability of the Earth to radiate heat/light out past the atmosphere into space. Once the light reaches the surface and is absorbed, it doesn't matter whether it was by a black panel or a solar panel. Energy is energy. A black panel does not radiate energy into space, it emits it into the atmosphere. The use of electrical energy also generates heat which is transferred to the atmosphere sooner or later. The advertised culprit of global warming is atmospheric greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, that reflect infrared wavelength energy from the surface back down to the surface. The heat generated by sunlight on a black panel, or from the use of electrical energy, is reflected back by the greenhouse gases instead of radiating out into space, no matter what the source. So no, solar panels do not contribute to global warning simply because of their transfer of light into electricity instead of infrared/heat. The source of the heat (black panel or electrical use) is not the (whole) problem. It is the greenhouse gases that trap the heat that is the problem, according to the global warming theory. I hope this helps.
Q: Im doing a project and i have to persuade some one that solar pannels are great... help ?
Almost sure that you must pick up everything that have to do with solar energy at www.okorder .
Q: How do solar panels affect the property's energy efficiency rating?
Solar panels have a positive impact on a property's energy efficiency rating by generating clean, renewable energy. By harnessing sunlight and converting it into electricity, solar panels reduce the reliance on traditional energy sources, leading to lower energy consumption and costs. This increased energy efficiency contributes to a higher rating for the property.
Q: Im curious because I read about a boy who invented a 3d solar panel, using a pyramid he designed a solar panel that collects light more efficiently. Now I have a question. Why cant I design a solar panel that takes adventage of convex and concave mirror's and use a surface that collects light and then focus's the suns energy into a beam and take the beam into a chamber where the solar panels are sitting and surround them with mirrors as well, so any light not obsorbed by one particular spot is reflected to another area for reabsorbtion. I know solar panels dont absorb light but perhaps that will allow more light to create the effects it needs.

Q: How long does it take a 5 watt, 2 volt solar panel to charge a 2 volt R.V. battery?
depends on the sunlight. And on the size of the battery. But it may never charge, as you need at least 5 volts to charge a 2 volt battery. So unless the sunlight is bright enough to generate 5 volts, all you will do is discharge the battery through the solar panel. But a large battery is 00 amp hours of capacity. Even if you had a 5 volt 5 watt panel, that generates only amp at most, so it would take over 00 hours to charge that size battery. .
Q: How do solar panels affect the property's energy management strategy?
Solar panels can significantly impact a property's energy management strategy by providing renewable and clean energy. By harnessing the power of the sun, solar panels can reduce dependency on traditional energy sources, lower electricity costs, and promote sustainability. The excess energy generated by solar panels can be stored or sold back to the grid, further optimizing energy management. Additionally, solar panels can enhance a property's overall value and reputation, making it more attractive to environmentally conscious consumers.
Q: I'm thinking of getting a solar panel for my house to help cut back on power use (I live in New Mexico). What sort of appliances can I run on a watt solar panel? Is it worth it to get a single watt panel or is it more efficient to get a multi-watt panel?
If it's sunny and you have 500 of them, you can almost power a hair dryer... Look at the WATTS.... 40 of those panels can power one crappy light...
Q: How do solar panels and heaters work?
well, I suggest you that Amaze-Heaters are good for you.
