- For the one who said it would be odd to have over 30 diferent extinguishers in your home let me say this. There are 4 types of fire extinguishers. Each is for a diferent type of fire. If you lived in a large house and had several buildings around your property it should determine how many fire extinguishers you have. Well I hunt, just as there are different kinds of fires there are diferent things to hunt. There is small game. That covers rabit, squirrel, birds, exc. Then it goes up to medium game. This is dear and an assortment of animals of similar size. Then there is large game. This is bear, moose, elk, exc. Then you have a self defence point. Just as there are diferent kinds of extinguishers there is a diferent kind of gun for those purposes. A 22 or shotgun for small animals, then amuthing that can be used to kill a bear is going to kill a dear. If you used anything larger than a 22 on small game you would find nothing of the game. The best guns for medium game are probably anything from 30-30 and up. Uniquely there is also another thing you must look at. Not all guns are the same. 30-30 is shorter range then 30-06. Same bullet diameter but the bullets are visually diferent. A 30-30 is more round at the tip than a 30-06. This is for brush. The two feel different for each other when the trigger is pulled to. The only big game gun I can think of like the 30-30 is a gun known as the British 303. It was a bolt action rifle used by the British military in WW1 and WW2. it was Delors from the military in the 60s. Similar bullet to a 30-30 but capable of going 1000 yards. If I'm hunting over an open field I don't want to use it though. I want a round that's pointy. As for self defence. That all goes down to what an individual likes best.

- If your vent was installed on your electric dryer correctly should be a metal band clamp that afiixes the hose to the vent pipe that leads to the outside. Generally they can be loosened with a screwdriver. The hose should be able to be slid down further on the the vent pipe move the clamp back on the undisturbed portion of the hose (just in back of the slit) and retighten the clamp. If the hose is not round anymore, you're far better off buying a new hose and follow the instruction on the package. Go to the hardware store and you'll be able to buy as little or as much as you need. From buying indivdual parts to complete kits. One thing before you go though. Measure the diameter of the pipe that is required for your dryer. The size can vary. There's nothing worse than getting to the store only to discover that you don't have all the information you need to make the right purchase. The problem with trying to repair the old hose would be if its not round. When repairing it you have to make sure it gets round. When the hose is not round it confines the air flow. You may not notice much of a difference but the heat element in the dryer does. Being confined, makes the element overheat. which in turn can reduce the life of the dryer or even cause a fire. However, if you are intent on fixing the old hose I would try getting a jar the same size as the inside diameter of the hose and run the tapered end of the jar through the hose first but of course the hose has to be completely removed from the dryer. Because the material used in these hoses are very thin you must be extremely careful not to tear it. You may think this is just a lot of hot air but wait til you get it fixedNow that's hot air!

- Measuring resistance can detect short circuit in the device. Full short circuit will blow a fuse, but a partial one might only overheat the device and start a fire.
