Q: what type of wrench could we need to unscrew it correctly and what would be a proper way to take the bed apart . this bed is really similar to the one i have i hope the bed pic helps: If you have access to a socket wrench of the right size and configuration, it might work. Some bed bolts, though, have square heads and most socket sets work on hex heads (6-sided). As far as how to do it. remove the mattress, box spring, and slats. have a helper hold the footboard while you remove the bed bolts. Slide off the footboard and repeat with the headboard.

Q: i wear my slippers and socks to bed anyone else do this?: I do, but I get super cold feet and then they hurt. I never used to as a child though, I don't let my children wear even just socks to bed. I think it's bad if you're young as it restricts your feet and they deserve to be looked after!

A mattress pad is basically a sheet that has extra padding in it. The bed should be sturdy enough to hold a heavier person. There were a lot of big guys that I went to college with and they never had a problem.

When my daughter was 16 months old, she got a toddler bed and she hates it. Her big sister who lives with us half the time has a twin bed and my daughter gets up at every chance and climbs into her sisters twin bed. My daughter is only 1 year 8 months now and she still does it. She just prefers a big bed. If you are worried about your big girl falling out of bed than I would invest in those safety rails which will come in handy if by chance you were to get pregnant again and your second child needs a big kid bed.
