- Q: My boyfriend has two 3 yr old boys. They come to our house once a month. We would like to buy them beds. Would you get toddler beds or would you get bunk beds? - I would go with the toddler bed if you have to, not the bunk beds. Or you could always graduate your daughter to a big girl bed and give your son the toddler bed. My daughter recently went from a crib to a twin bed with no problems whatsoever - we simply put it in the middle of the room away from walls and installed two extra long safety rails, then we taught her the safe way to climb down at the foot of the bed. She's fine with it at 25 months, and we didn't have to waste money on any other transitional bed. I have heard that bunkbeds are very dangerous. Even big kids can fall off easily or get hurt, and it would be hard to keep your little climber from going up there and following his big sis.

- A queen bed is 60X80 in the smaller room it might work against two walls. Otherwise go fo the bigger room with a big bed. You could do Google how to make a loft bed if you can't buy what you want. SS

- I don't believe in making beds. I think it's a waste of time. There are two rules with beds: 1. No food or drink other than water may be consumed in your bed 2. Bedding has to stay off the floor These rules are obeyed at all ages. My kids sometimes make forts and stuff on their bed during the day, and I don't mind. I don't make my bed either. I imagine the age would vary based on your expectations though. If you just want them to throw the covers over loosely, then probably around 3-4 they could do that. If you expect hotel -quality, maybe closer to 7-8.

- Wrinkles! If you gonna go pleaz cover ur face. Tanning lotions are much safer. Dove tanning lotion is an effective alternative. Doesnt smell bad unlike so many others

- Bed bugs feed on dead skin cells that fall off while your sleeping. You should actually vacuum your bed every couple weeks for a month or two and then vacuum it at least once a month to help keep them away. Also change your sheets often, Like once a week or more. Bed bugs can show up anywhere, your home, apartment and hotels.

- Paper towels work the best in times like this. You can lay down paper towels along the bottom and then put some shredded ones on top so that he can nest in them. This will last until you can get him some more bedding. And like another said, don't use pine or cedar as they are toxic to small animals.
