1.    Structure introduction :

The boiler is a double-drum longitudinal natural circulation assembled water-tube boiler. The body is divided into two parts, the assembly body and the assembly grate. The combustion equipment adopts light chain grate, with stepless speed transmission device. The front, rear and two sides of the water-cooled wall are arranged in the furnace, and the water-cooled wall on both sides adopts dense tube bundles. The furnace is arranged with high and short front arch and low and long back arch, covering about 70 % of the length of the grate. The convection section uses a partition wall to fold the flue gas into three return journeys, and two ash removal holes are arranged. Cast iron economizer and heat pipe air preheater are arranged at the tail. The blower blows the cold air into the air preheater for preheating and then enters the inlet ducts on both sides of the boiler. It rises to the furnace through six independent grate air chambers. Each inlet duct is equipped with an adjustment door to make the air distribution adjustment on the grate simple.

The coal hopper is arranged in front of the combustion equipment, and the coal gate adopts a water-cooled cast steel serrated shape, which effectively increases the surface area of the coal seam and is conducive to the full combustion of coal.

The fuel enters the furnace combustion through the coal hopper device, and the high-temperature flue gas absorbed by the water-cooled wall of the furnace enters the cooling chamber. The flue gas is discharged into the cast iron economizer after heat exchange in the convection section, and then enters the heat pipe air preheater, and then passes through the dust collector. Finally, it is pumped by the induced draft fan from the chimney to the atmosphere.

2.Product features :

a. The heating surface of the assembled boiler body is arranged abundantly, the pressure rise is fast, the output is sufficient, the overload capacity is strong, the insulation layer is elegant, the heat loss is small, and the water-cooled wall is high aluminum light refractory brick, aluminum silicate fiber felt and rock wool, while the general manufacturers use concrete and perlite.

b. Grate adopts reinforced active grate, this kind of grate is specially designed for assembling boiler in our factory, pitch is 90 mm, width is 64 mm, the destructive test proves that the tensile strength of reinforced active grate is twice that of ordinary active grate, so as to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the grate.

c. The two sides of the main combustion zone of the grate are sealed by high aluminum heat-resistant ductile iron, while the general manufacturers are gray cast iron or ordinary hot cast iron.

d. Grate ventilation adopts independent sealed air chamber into the air on both sides, adjustable air device for grid adjustable air door, it is driven by umbrella gear rack and moving grid to adjust the wind, the grid all through the gold processing, so not only the operation is flexible and convenient, and through the cold state ribbon test, the uniformity of the adjustable air device in the width direction of the grate is very good, can well adapt to the needs of combustion, and the general manufacturers are used in the grate plate side plate open two holes butterfly adjustable air plate.

e. The ash falling device of the grate also adopts a push-pull grid ash falling device.

f. The bearing of the main shaft and the driven shaft of the grate adopts the double row short cylindrical adjustable bearing, while the general manufacturers use cast iron sleeve or copper sleeve.

g. The water-cooled serrated coal gate is adopted in the coal gate, which can not only loosen the coal seam but also increase the surface area of coal seam combustion, and correspondingly increase the coal-fired area of the grate. The practice in recent years has proved that the use of this kind of coal gate can make the coal fully burn. The use of different coal gates in the same boiler can obviously advance the burnout zone of coal by 500 ~ 1000mm, and the carbon content of slag is greatly reduced.

In summary, the assembled boiler of our company has unique characteristics. In 1989, the assembled boiler won the third prize of major scientific and technological achievements of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Machinery Industry. In 1997, the assembled boiler series won the first grade title of the Ministry of Machinery.

You probably don't need me to tell you it's time to reseal the joint. What I can tell you is that it's very common to have water inside a boiler distribution system turn greenish brown, or reddish brown. Since the distribution is a closed system you will have the same water going round and round inside the pipes, picking up whatever is on their inside surface. In the case of galvanized steel or iron distribution piping, products of corrosion will also get into the water. It doesn't necessarily mean that the pipes need to be replaced, but when the joint is resealed the interior of the pipe should be examined to determine how advanced the corrosion is. The water would not be toxic, but I wouldn't drink a glass of it. ; )

This is a tough choice. If your going to air condition the home then you might want to use a furnace. If the house is large then a hot water boiler will be easier to get the heat to the rooms with different zones. Boilers use pipe and furnaces use metal duct to distribute the heat. Its going take so many BTU's to heat your home so this is where the efficiency of the unit comes to play. Regards, Dale

A boiler is a hot water system that heats your house by pumping hot water to radiators threw out the house. Although this system works very well, the only draw back with that is you would have to run separate duct work in your home if you want central air. Now if you are talking about a furnace which is used to heat your home, it is used with duct work installed and warm air is forced into each room. That's why they call it a forced air system. What is nice about a forced air system that you can install a central air conditioning system to the same duct work and use that to cool your home during the summer.
Q:I live in Ireland. We have just bought a new house. In our old house our gas boiler (which was Vokera I think) heated both the radiators the water. However, in this house, the boiler does not appear to be heating the water. It will only heat when we switch on the emmersion. Are we missing a switch that can be turned to allow our gas boiler to heat both the water the radiators?
This boiler may still heat both. Firstly go to your water cylinder and check how many pipes come off of the cylinder. There will be one at the top and one at the bottom on the side. If you have two other pipes entering on the same side at different heights then your boiler is designed to do the hot water but you may have a fault. If this is not the case then to convert it the best idea would be to get a combination boiler which would comfortably do both. expect between ?1200 and ?2000 and this would also free up your airing cupboard

Most steam systems pump the condensate to the deaerator where any non condensables such as air are removed. The condensate is then pumped by the boiler feed pumps to the boiler either through an economizer depending on the system design. The amount of boiler feedwater that is pumped to the boiler will depend on the water level in the boiler. As the steam demand varies more or less water will be added to maintain the correct level. The fire from the burner(s) will also vary to maintain the pressure in the boiler. It is the burner flame that produces the heat that vaporizes the water into steam. Most boilers have a steam drum at the top of the boiler that all of the tubes connect to. It here that the water level is maintained. In the case of fire tube boilers the level is a bit different but still controlled in a similar matter. See the two links below for infor on water tube and fire tube boilers. On very large industrial and power boilers the control of the boiler feedwater and the boiler level is maintained by an elaborate system of level sensors and flow sensors so that the boiler level can be maintained more accurately than with just a simple level control. The flow sensors can detect a change if steam load and begin to adjust the water level before there is an actual change in the level.
Q:Ive been having some problems with my central heating, the engineer removed the thermostat but im not sure if he was right to do that -he seems to be one of the dodgy builder types.PS it didnt fix the heating prob though, just made it worse.
You could have a blockage but power flushing is fairly expensive and may not solve the problem, when the boiler was repaired they should have put inhibitor into the system to prevent blocking/corrosion, this should be done roughly once a year. It sounds as though you could have an air lock, try shutting off the rads leaving the one nearest the boiler open, when it gets hot move onto the next one, repeat until all the rads are hot, vent the rads as any air should've been pushed up to the highest point, then they need balancing, you really should call British gas if the work on the boiler was recent as after paying out all that money you shouldn't have any problems at all.
